"Lost" yorkies
 
In the last week, two yorkies have disappeared from my neighbourhood. For me, there's no doubt they've been stolen. One might get lost, but two in a week? That simply doesn't make sense. I'm so sad, and furious that someone might steal little dogs, presumably to breedthem, given the price the puppies go for.

I'm also furious with the owners. In one case, he was wlaking the dog without a leash, with is simpy dangerous. Even if it's not stolen, he can get frightened and run tyo a car or something like that. In other case, the owned tied the dog to a lampost while she was buying in the supermarket. I mean, I'm sure they're going through hell, but they should have protected their babies better, shouldn't they?

I don't think anyone who really loves their babies would have done things like that. It's just ridiculous. I'm sorry for what they must be feeling, but they just didn't use their heads.

Do people not think? Tied the dog to a post while they went into a store? And they actually expected it to still be there when they came out? Maybe the person who took it was trying to save it from it's irresponsible owner! I'm not condoning taking it either, but leaving it out there was just plain dumb!:mad: :thumbdown

My grandfather said when he was walking out of walgreens, he saw a yorkie tied to a lamppost. I looked at him and said, "does the owner just not want the dog? That is the most irresponsible thing I have ever heard of." I don't understand why we just dont leave the dog in the house if you have to stop at the store. It makes no sense. And i feel sorry for the dogs whose lives are now in disarray because the owner was being careless. That's so sad.

It's becoming an epidemic because of stupid celebrities popularizing them. The other day I drove by the dollar store and saw a spaniel poodle type puppy tied out front having a melt down - literally the sun was blazing the side walk . The puppy was freaking out trying to get inside and find the owners and some shade.

I wish more places would allow pets.. I just dont get it... We got kicked out of a wal- mart for taking Muffy in, And she was in a backpack. They didn't have any signs up. I asked them what they wanted me to do leave her in the car to die... I wasn't even taking her near the food.

They sound like very irresponsible owners! What were they thinking? I just feel bad for the babies.
