I'm Getting Another Yorkie Tomorrow!
 

Well Kindof... My parents have a yorkie named Rylie that they got right around the same time as I got Lacy. He's only 6 weeks younger than her and they LOVE LOVE LOVE each other! My parents are leaving Wednesday to go on a long vacation so I get to dogsit! We're each driving 2 1/2 hours to meet halfway so I can get him. I'll for sure have him for three weeks but I may have him for 6 weeks until Thanksgiving. I'm so excited to have another dog around! He's such a good boy too. He's not used to going and doing things like Lacy is and he doesn't like other dogs, except for Lacy who he is just obscessed with (I guess because they met as puppies). We have some dog events coming up - birthday party tuesday and dog festival on Saturday so I'm hoping he'll do okay at them. He normally doesn't wear clothes either but I got him a couple shirts to wear for special days. He's a little smaller than Lacy (shorter legs, shorter body). He should be about 5.5lbs but he's overweight and weighs 7lbs right now. Maybe he'll lose a little weight while he's here having Lacy to play with and with us going on walks and my sister not giving him so many treats! Lacy is going to love having him here to play with! How does he do with your cat?

He's always been great around the cats when we visit my parents. He doesn't even notice them unless Lacy chases them...then he'll normally join in. i think he's moreso running after Lacy than after the cats though. He's really better around them than Lacy is LOL. She can be such a toot

P.S. Did you order the pink or lavender dress? Both were beautiful and would look stunning on Lacy! :)

Oh I wish I could! I've wanted another yorkie for two years! But I'm in vet school and have two cats and Lacy and its just not a good time right now. I'm sure I'll get one as soon as I'm out of school though!

He is adorable! Hope you can keep him until Thanksgiving, good companion for Lucy.

Wow are they super cute together...especially the one with the both of them under the Christmas tree...that is a nice picture. You'll have a fun 6 weeks that's for sure!:D

I just got home with Rylie about an hour ago. I was so surprised that he's lost quite a bit of weight in the past couple months! My mom said he's been running around in the yard more. He looks really good. He did fine on the ride home. He and Lacy slept in her carseat. He got pretty nervous though when we pulled up to the house and went inside. He walked around like he wasn't sure what to think. He isn't used to going a lot of places and likes to stay in his routine so this will be an adjustment for him. He's sleeping on the end of the couch by me now on his red blanket. I know he's going to be a little sad being away from my parents and home, but I think he'll get used to it and will enjoy being with Lacy. They were SOOO excited to see each other when we met up. We have a birthday party to go to Tuesday so I'll take pictures of them all dressed up and post them :)

Seems like he will adjust fast. Can't wait to see the pictures from the bday party.
