i gave 500 for missy, 875 for bobo, 800.00 for haRLEY, 800 FOR POOZACK, 500 for karlee, and traded a pug for mindy. I charge 800.00 for my small pups and they are akc and have champion bloodlines. |
Tyke was 800 and Bubba was 1100  |
I paid $800. But 2 days later I had to pay $750 in vet bills for her :( . My hubby was mad at me. She was a spur of the moment find so he wasnt very happy I bought her(LOVES her now though). I get to write the money off on my taxes though :p . She is the model for my business. My accountant cant figure out how to do it yet but I dont care, I'll figure it out :D :D :D . Thats how I talked my husband into letting me buy her. He wasn there when I found her so I called him at work and kept bugging him until he said ok. She was woth every penny. I feel like it is a steal how much I got her for. |
If we had not gotton a family discount, Tinkerbell would have been a fortune! In California, Yorkies seem to go for a lot more than other places I am finding out, 1500 to 2000. My mother actually bought Tinkerbell for me from a family member that breeds them. My mom thought my maltese Chloe needed a friend and I no way could have afforded one. |
I found a terrific breeder and fell in love with Rocky! It was meant to be from the beginning! The breeder was asking $1500 for the puppies, but we got Rocky for $900. As fate would have it, the breeder works with my dad and we never knew it until we met him! As it turns out, the breeder is a police officer and my father (who is a preacher) is also the chaplain in his district! Well, my dad had helped him out somewhere along the way, and he "repaid" the favor by giving us a little break in the price. If I knew then what I know now, I would be $50,000 for Rocky and never regret it! |
I got Gwen for free, however she is already 3 and has a bum back leg. I would have paid for her though because she is so cute and gets along as if she had all four legs. We didn't think she was going to make it at first, but now she eats like a horse and is just wonderful. I love rescuing animals. They give you so much love in return. |
Wow! Gracie was $1500.00 and we still don't have the papers!!!!!! Arghhhh. |
Gizmo was $350, and Zoey was $700. Zoey came with about $200 worth of stuff, and both are AKC. :) |

Worth Every Penny!! 4 Attachment(s) Paid $900 for Piper with AKC reg. and also met two wonderful people in his breeders. Hope to get another baby from them some day, only possibly from different parents since all their parents are beautiful, and possibly a female, which will be $1200. Found a male pup for $725 locally earlier in the same day that I found Piper but I fell in LOVE with Piper after he "picked" me. The difference in the amount wasn't a factor once I found my little man. My angel baby Maxx would've been $650 since he had a hernia repair and was neutered, with an additional $160 for shipping had he made it home. He had papers also. Found him on the internet at PuppyFind.com The pics on the left are baby pics my breeder recently sent me of my handsome little Piper Cub at a younger age-he's a whole 15 weeks now, and the pics on the right are of my little angel Maxx. |
My Tucker was $1050. He was the smallest of two males in a litter of 3. His larger brother was $950 and his sister was $1200. I had bought a house in December and taken a loan out of my 401k to put in new flooring and was counting on a healthy income tax refund to get a Yorkie and put a privacy fence around my yard. As it turns out, I found Tuck (who already was litter box comfortable - not competent), before the tax refund was in. So I borrowed $300 from my boyfriend to get him and would pay him back when the tax refund came... Guess what - it wasn't as much as I was expecting - so, I have no privacy fence but I am so happy with my boy!!!! |
Coco was $1800 and worth every penny. :) My boyfriend and I tried to find a dog cheaper, but we couldn't. Unless, we shipped a dog and some were comming out to be even more. |
Remy was $1000 + shipping and Martini was $1200 |
I paid $2000 for Desi. |
I paid $450 for Pirogue, but it was because he was going to be a bigger dog. At the time I didn't know what that meant. His dad weighs 8# and his mom is 10# and he is over 10# now. I paid $600 for Lady Galahad at 5 1/2 mos. and altho she's a nice dog I wouldn't have bought her from her breeder if I knew then what I know now. I paid $900 for Autumn Rose from a breeder I found on Puppyfind. She may have some flaws but I'm so in love with I don't see any. I paid $1200 for Mr. Big but he's a 5th generation small. He's a little less than 6 months and weighs 3.5#. Now Miss Lacijo is our unexpected baby. When we took the last pmt in for Mr. Big we got talked into taking her. She is the half sister to Mr. Big and was 5 1/2 months and now a little over 8 months. She weighs 3.4# and won't get too much bigger, she's also 5th generation small. The breeder wanted $2500 for her, had her advertised for that but sold her to us for $1800. Since she was going to be small anyway I don't know why she didn't sell but we didn't get a perfect deal either. She's highstrung when it storms or if there's loud noises. Otherwise, she's a perfectly nice dog. The breeder said we got the break because she knew we would give her a good home. There's no way we would have put out $1800 for our first dog, I would have paid $1200 for my first Yorkie but I probably would have had to argue a little with my hubby. He only winced a little at $900 and didn't bat an eye over Mr. Big or Lacijo as long as the breeder would take pmts. |
