Hey, thanks for the tip about Amazon! I just ordered a 120gm bottle for a total of $51.94 (including 2nd day shipping:thumbup: !) Nikki, how do you like it so far, are Sugar's eyes clearing up at all? |
hmmm i will have to look into that, lolas eyes tear all the time i asked the vet and he told me her eye lids roll in a tiny bit and that may be irratating and cause the tearing problems. |

Remi's eyes used to weep and constantly be gunked up with boogies and the fur on the sides of his nose would be wet and sticky until I cut all the hair on the top of his nose and between his eyes short. Now we can see his eyes and they never gunk up anymore. The same with Roxy, but not nearly as bad. I think the hair in their eyes irritated them. |
I had a maltese a few years ago, I tried everything advertised on her, including distilled water, had no luck with anything..even did the peroxide under the eyes with a cotton ball, that helped for a month or so, but then it quit helping too..if you get it, let us know if it works |

Yeah, I know there are a lot of dyes in things that will cause the tear staining..I do have a biewer that has A LOT of white on his face, he does have quite a lot of tear staining also..I will check the dog food bag, I use blackwood, and I don't remember seeing anything about beet powder in there, but, will double check..luckily he's pad trained, as down here, we also have red clay for dirt, which really stains bad |
I've been using it for about 2 months on my 2 guys. There is definitely an improvement. They still get eye gunk but not nearly as much nor does it stain as bad. I wash their eyes at least every other day and that seems to be OK now. Before, I was washing their eyes every day and it was always a fight to get it all out. |
