Snort snort snort Bella gets so excited when she sees me first thing in the morning or when i come home from work. She is a big wiggle worm and gets so excited when she is kissing me she snorts. It really is the cutest thing ever!!:yelrotflm Does your baby snort too?? |
Mine don't, but they act like they haven't seen me in years. |
Yes mine does to. Sometimes it's so bad I think she's having an asma attack or something. She only does it when she's really excited about seing me. Kinda weird but so cute! |
Luna is an excitable snorter too:laugh: AND she spins like a top when I come home as well:D |
OMG! I was going to start a thread about this soon - I thought Tate was the only "snorter!" LOL  My little girl LITERALLY sounds like a piggy she snorts so much. It's when she is eating (like a pig) :p and when she gets excited to see her mommy :D OMG, it is the cutest thing ever! Stedman never ever snorts and none of my other dogs do either - but Tator is just a snorting machine! |
Make sure is not Collapsing Trachea I just found out 6 months ago that Kalahad had a collapsing trachea (lots of info in the internet) It is common in small breads. They make a snort sound, cough or honk specially when excited. Mine does it also sometimes when he barks but others apparently without any reason in the middle of the night. Heat and humidity also triggers it. The most common clinical sign is a chronic cough. It is often described as dry and harsh and can become quite pronounced. The term "goose honk" is often used to describe it. Coughing is often worse in the daytime and much less at night. The cough may also begin due to excitement, pressure on the trachea (from a leash), or from drinking water or eating. I would recommend that you do a little research about this and if you suspect it, tell your vet and make some tests. Never use a collar with a Yorkie, must use a harness, no matter if they have CT or not. Trachea is a very sensible are on small breads. |
Bella has never had a collar and leash...only a harness. I had my vet look at her because i had read so much about yorkie health issues. My vet is said she is fine. Its just a little snuffle snort kinda like when someone laughs. It is not loud and she never does it unless she is excited. She really is cute though..lol |
That sounds soooooooooo cute! My Bella doesn't snort, but she sure gets to be a wiggle-worm!!! :) |
