Lopsi & Crew Hey everyone! I've been very, very busy and haven't had any time to log in, much less keep up with everyone. We had some exciting events tonight though, and I just HAD to come share! My Bogey (yorkie), Hubby's Preston (pug), and daughter's Cinnamon (Jack Russell) were in dog training. We had graduation tonight - I am so proud of my crew! My precious Bogey has come so very far. When we got him, he was a wild thing with no manners or socialization. If you knew him then, and you know him now, you would be proud, too! He graduated VALIDOGTORIAN tonight! He was so proud of himself, too - he's had a blast in training. When they announced him at the top of the class, he started jumping in circles and really showing off. Everyone had a good laugh. Preston (husband's pug) graduated with honors. He came in 4th and has learned a lot. He's doing well. Daughter has been training her Cinnamon - they came in 6th - she also did very well. Cinnamon is a very smart dog and would have likely done a lot better if she'd *not* had a 6 yr old trainer. My husband's little puppy Jubilee (pug) is also doing well. She's the one that had parvo... and beat it. She had a plasma transfusion and pulled through. I think her growing is stunted because she is very, very little, but she's a lot bigger than she was, and even better, she's alive! She is also growing to be a very spoiled little girl. I know, I know, I haven't talked about Pixie yet! Well... she's doing FANTABULOUS! Yes, I just made up a word, but it fits! She is done having surgeries - her legs are fixed, she has recovered, and she is walking, jumping, playing, and even running like she should be. She also *got* fixed finally, too. She does still have issues with her collapsing trachea, but we try to control it with medication. She's on a steroid every few days... Not really good for her long-term health, but without it, there won't be a long-term. And us? We did move back into our house this past summer, and my daughter got to come back home, too. School started back up, and I'm in way over my head. Between work, school, dogs, and extra-curricular activities, I have a very, very busy schedule. We are doing well though. Is Angi still around? Elizabeth? Steph? Ya'll let me know how you're doing too! I miss all my yorkie friends. Oh... and for my Oklahoma friends, I was looking at some of my pictures of the Oklahoma meet that Pixie and I went to. I have laughed and laughed about Zeke... and I have such a good picture of Pixie and Zeke together! And the little swimmer that couldn't stay out of the pool... Such good memories of my YorkieTalk friends! Can't wait to start going back to the local DFW meets - I've missed at least one. :( |
I'm glad everything is going so well! Hope to see you and your crew again at another meetup sometime soon |

My crew is doing well. Well.... most of us. My husband fell down stairs last Thursday and dislocated his ankle... it was GROSS... if you have ever watched "scarred" on MTV it looked like something that would have been on there. His ankled rolled to a 90 degree angle inward and stayed there. They had to set his foot back. Knocked him out for about 2-5 minutes, popped it back in place where a foot is supposed to be and now we are heading to surgery on Friday to fix the torn limaments. The rest of us are doing great. My boys are doing good... 12 yr old is playing football, 11 yr old playing Xbox 360, Rusty is well..... being Rusty.... lovey, honory, and funny!!! Sophie is a C U T I E that is a COMPLETE daddy's girl. She has topped out so far at a WHOPPING 2.6lbs or so at 9 mnths old now. VERY healthy now aside of double teeth... very fixabe problem... THAT is one I can live with :D (you know what I mean there) Rusy & Sophie play together CONSTANTLY... Sophie is FEARLESS!! It is too cute to see her running as fast as caninely possible 2.6 lbs after a 8.5 lber!!! toooo cute. Good to hear from ya!! |
