yorkieK9trainer | 10-04-2007 08:29 PM | mstiffie, there are a couple of great tactics to get an ear that otherwise wants to raise up, remain dropped.
One that works well is to use weave glue (hair glue) on the inner leather of the ear and glue it in the position you'd like it to lay down onto the cheek of the dog. It's safe for the dogs...I've yet to have a single one have any sort of skin irritation to it, although I imagine it could happen. There is a special glue remover, but typically you just wait until it starts to wear thin and just reapply as needed. If you need to get in there to clean the ears or something, the remover comes in handy.
