She's adorable, but I wouldn't buy her.

There's no consistency in her litters which is telling me that she's not closely watching what she breeds to what and I'd be cautious about any health issues that could arise prior to two years of age. Ask and see if she offers any sort of guarantee for congenital defects for at least a year of age and what those terms are. If you agree w/ them, only THEN would I consider going for her.

I'd continue doing your homework if I were you.

Having the "Yorkie itch" can be a pain in the rear! :)

I know you were looking for a new baby and if it all checks out and they are good breeders why not call and ask about the other puppies she has! maybe you can get one of her babies

She is adorable. I will take her if you don't:D . We have two and hubby won't let us go for #3. I would be somewhat concered at a breeder letting her go at 8 weeks. They usually say the min. is 12 weeks.

My breeder says if anyone lets a yorkie go at under 12 weeks stay away from them. Be sure to see the parents and where they live to make sure everything is on the up and up.

while I don't let mine go until twelve weeks (except one to an experienced yorkie mama0, most of the breeders in my area let them go at six weeks. Doesn't mean they are bad breeders and people should 'run'. Just shows ignorance in not really knowing what they are doing. I brought ceeby home at eight weeks and after a rocky start, he has done well. But, there are many areas of the U.S. that people let them go at six-eight weeks. it's more of a cultural thing.

My guess is that it was indeed a hoax to get a sale. The poster and breeder were in the same zip code and Blanchard Texas AIN'T THAT BIG.
