Well, I sold my little girl that I've been calling Lady Guinevere. She will be going to a home with a couple that's in their 40s with no kids at home. She is not looking for a breeding dog, but one that she can carry around. We're all so very excited and she's flying in on Wednesday to pick her up. It's so sad when they leave :( but I have a good feeling about this. I know that she'll be going to a home where she'll be doted on and have lots of love!

Must be so hard to let go of them when you raised them from birth like that! :rolleyes: I can't imagine...
It sounds like she is going to a great home and will have a Wonderful life... ;)

Worst part is, she was my favorite. I guess because she stayed small and would hop instead of run like her sisters. :p My daughter is mad at me but if I kept her, I would end up keeping one from each litter...not that they're anything wrong with that! :rolleyes:

Awwww...I'd be one big wet noodle if I had to say goodbye.....It sounds like she'll have a great life and you just have to be happy for that ! Congrats....are they going to keep in touch with you ?

She's adorable! I am sure her new parents will keep in touch and you can watch her grow through pictures. Maybe you can invite them to the site and they can share stories of her with all of us :D

I've already told her about yorkietalk!!! :thumbup: I'm not the one that will be flying with her. They are actually going to fly to Houston and I'm meeting them there at the airport! So, either Monday or Tuesday I'm going to take her to the vet...again and get the letter of clean bill of health for the airlines. This will make it much easier on the lady.

The family is originally from Holland! They're a long way from home!

You should definitely tell her about Yorkie Talk! In fact, I think that all the people that breed on here should tell their buyers about it! It's such a great source of information, especially for the new Yorkie owner!

I know you're going to miss the baby, but at least you know she's going to a loving home. Just think about how you've changed that couple's life forever!

Congratulations on finding good parents for Lady Guinevere. I would love to breed one day, but I don't know if I could ever say goodbye to a pup. I'd be the crazy old lady on the street with 40 yorkies living in the house!!

It's so hard to part with them! My mom bred our Scottie Piper (RIP) and my favorite, we called him Bubba cause he had quite the blubber belly, was the one the breeder wanted for her stud fee.

I cried the whole day. Then I found out a few weeks later that he was bought to be the mascot and greeter for a hotel! That made me feel much better. I never thought that he could bring as much happiness to someone else as he did to me... But now he's making tons of people happy every day!
