Another big moment...check back weekly & see what's next! 1 Attachment(s) Well you've probably seen Lexie's progressively growing belly pictures (if not, check out that thread); but tonight we had our newest thrill.:yay_jump: Tonight, I felt Lexie's puppies move for the first time! I was very pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting it until next week. She was laying in my lap getting her almost constant belly rub from me, when suddenly I saw it...or at least I thought I saw something...something different from the rythymic rise & fall of her breathing. A fast little bump, a quick little flick on her skin! Could it be?:hmmm33: Well you know I had to do the next best thing; I put my hands on her belly, kind of to the sides with just a gentle pressure, and sure enough I actually FELT a puppy movement across my hand! How awesome is that? Sorry for rambling, but I am so excited! And even though you may already have seen Lexie's belly at 6 weeks (day 42) taken just last Saturday, the picture here at day 45 is her belly just a shor while after I first felt the puppies move! WooHoo! |
Awww, how cool is that?!?! I can't wait to see her beautiful babies:love: Good luck with the whelping, I hope it goes smooth as silk:thumbup: |
