Yes, I am afraid of someone stealing Annie and with good reason. Last October I flew to TN to get her. I live in WA in a small town. Right around Thanksgiving I was driving down the street and need to make a stop and get out. I decided to take her with me. Just as I was returning to my vehicle, a suburan comes in and cuts me off. This woman gets out and starts screaming at me thats my dog, thats my dog! You stole my dog! My reply was You think this is your dog??? That is my dog and you stole her! I open my truck door and start to get in when the man comes around the back of the suburan and says that is her! I close my door, put it in reverse and leave. I called my husband. He says are they following you? WHAT  . They were not. I later learned that a woman had ripped a yorkie out of an elderly couples hands at one of our local stores. Had it not been for an employee that stopped the woman she would have been gone with their yorkie as it ended. She got out of the store some how. But the elderly couple got their yorkie back. Annie is never left in my vehicle. If I have to go in somewhere and I can't take her in, either I leave her at home, or I bring her home and then go back! That was a horrifing experiance and I don't ever want to go through anything like that again!!! |
Everytime I put her out. People are crazy - it could happen even in a fenced yard! |

From one paranoid yorkie owner to another, I completely understand you. |
remember Yorkies are the #1 stolen dog in America. You can never be too careful. |
