Yorkie Convention!!! Hey lets all plan a YT Convention, where we get all fancied up, and our yorkies get all fancied up. Finally we can all meet each other and our yorkies can play and get to know each other..How much fun would that be?? All in favor?? |

We could have it in Los Angeles. The most fun place to visit, and lots of doggie parks. We would find a city park that would let us rent it out for a few hours. We would get dressed in our Dog Park Best and eat, drink and be merry. |
oh man..i LOVE this idea! we can totally do that in LA. I'm from LA, let me know if you need help planning. There are tons of places here that will let dogs in, there are even resturants here for dogs/humans to eat at. I'm so so excited! Yes, lets do this! Great idea Noebella! |
I've been saying we should do that for a while now. Only thing is...most people wont wanna pay for airfare and hotel expenses. So you cant expect a lot of people to show...which sucks. I wouldnt be able to go because I have 5 yorkies. I cant fly with all of them, and I sure cant drive from Virginia to Cali. lol If you do decide to do it, let me know how it goes! |
I belong to a meetup group that has tons of members as well. I'm sure they'd want in too if we set something up. |
Maybe, since airfare would be a lot, we should have each state do their own convention. So in Cali we could do it in LA, and in Ohio, the folks from there could arrange something there..I don't know but I REALLLLLLY want to do this...It sounds like a lotttttt of fun. |
If ONLY I had the money to fly out to L.A.! That would rock. I think it could be organized as regional, like southeast, northeast, north central usa, south central usa, and so on. Something like that. I WOULD LOOOOOVE TO ATTEND SOMETHING LIKE THAT! |
I really want to do this too! Sounds like it could be tons of fun :D There is even a beach in Long Beach that will allow dogs. We can do something like people can get hotels and do things like a beach day or a shopping, etc. I hope more people will be in on this! |
Maybe we should start getting people to settle on dates...if we can find like 2-3 dates and get the majority vote. Then some of the LA people can figure out the location, and BAM we're in business..hehe..To my boss: SEE I AM WORKING AND BEING CREATIVE. I JUST STARTED WORKING ON CREATING A YORKIE CONVENTION WHERE OUR PRODUCTS CAN BE DISPLAYED..HAHA |

i would LOVE to - but I'm on Boston :( I think it would be too hard to do by state - I think there are only like 2-3 people on here from Massachusetts. I think regional might work though? I\'d be willing to go to NY or some place like that. Actually, I\'d be willing to go just about anywhere! I\'d go to LA why not? |
I would love to go, but Lucy wouldn\'t be able to go. Im in the UK and I just wouldn\'t subject her to that kind of flight, bad enough subjecting myself to that kind of flight! lol! :eek: |
