Maddie Tee Shirt Fund Suggestion!! I pm Mitizs Mom who is doing tee shirt with that awesome quote for Lewis's new furbaby and she thought it was a great idea and of course ADMIN will have to let us know if we are okay to do this and I apologize now ADMIN if I am not doing this in the right forum.. I thought it would be a great tribute to the return of Maddie as well as the loving spirit of Lewis to make the tee shirts and sell them to YT Members etc and use the money raised from the tee shirts to start a Maddie Found Fund to help out other YT members who have lost their furbabies and are still waiting for them to be found etc ..a lot of details would need to be worked out but wanted to see if any interest and of course if this was cool with Denise and her family as well!!! Just throwing an idea out that I had ...this story of Maddie in spite of all the pain it started out with has a reason for happening and I think it goes beyond Maddie and Lewis!!!:) |

Donating Members can sell any product they would like and use the funds for any purpose they want. But we can not allow any kind of "Fund" for members, as there are a number of issues with that. |

Fabulous idea - with the best intensions - and I'd buy a T-Shirt... however it's way more complicated than just starting a "fund". You'd have to have committee, and the committe would have to be trusted to pick and choose WHO would get the benefits of the money to find their baby. And then they would have to decide "how much money" would be used and HOW it would be used? How long would you look for one if there were others needing help? And it goes on and on. I hate to burst your bubble - but I don't see Admin letting this happen. It will only end up with problems. It's a "wonderful" idea and you're so very sweet to think of it but maybe you could find a place that already does this and donate to them. Or start a legitimate one yourself. Seems admin has already vetoed the idea of a fund back on page one. i would like a t-shirt tho if it gets off the ground. the fund idea has been brought up many times in the past and admin won't allow it and I understand the issues with it. |

I think the rescue idea would be a great idea. Could I make another suggestion for what it may be worth. What if we would donate to the Rescue of our choice in our own home town in Maddie's name. I think there would be more participation and it wouldn't involve a collection (fund ) that can get rather 'sticky' |
