is she going to stay that tiny ? help anyone know. I want her to atleast gain a pound more

Those Natural Balance meat rolls will fatten her up. You can get them at PETCO and one will last a while.

We wanted Jo to gain a little bit too and he has since we started adding canned food to his hard food for breakfast and supper. He finally broke 3 pounds a couple days ago and he'll be 7 months in 9 days. When he was 6 months he weighed 2 pounds 9 oz. Just in the last month he had a growth spurt or something and he's started to get a bit taller...he's looking like a 'real dog' now!

I would make sure that you are feeding her something high protein and not high fat. You want her to grow not just get fat right? Even 3 lbs can be chubby if her body frame is just that small.

I can vouch for that! Tucker is really getting chubby, but he's onlly 3.5 pounds! People think I'm crazy calling him fat - but if you look at him you can tell he's not missing any meals!

She should continue to "fill out". The feeding suggestions were good ones.

Sydney'sMom is correct and that was our concern with Jo but with the food he's on he isn't getting fat...he's actually growing...Jo has a small frame and great muscle tone.

Too funny! I take it you can't feel his ribs anymore. Does he like to walk? Maybe he can work it off. LOL :rolleyes:

NO! He is the laziest dog I know! He hates to walk! When I walk the 2 of them together I feel like I'm going to get ripped down the middle - lol! Biddy wants to run as fast as she can & Tucker wants to stop and take a nap!!

LOL ...That's too funny !!! he sounds so laid back he's asleep ! Well...it sounds like you have 2 totally different personalities - I think that makes it easier - I look at Chanel and Cheri and am almost glad Cheri is such a mommies girl - I can only get bossed around so much !

PIXIESTAR ...They DO gain a bit more ...if she's only 6 months old she probably will - it just slows down but your baby sounds just totally adorable.

Too funny. Yorkies seem to be split down the middle as to whether they like to walk or not. Syd loves it. Too bad we don't live closer...sounds like Biddy and Sydney would be great friends!

I bet they would be too! Poor Biddy needs someone who's at her level! I know I can't keep up!
