Yorkie Tricks Just interested in what some of the tricks are that your Yorkie does. |
Morgan knows lay down/sit (both the same in her mind), roll over, play dead, high five, come, stay, dance, and probably some other little things that i can't think of. :D |
Chip knows sit, lay down, roll over (just for tummy rub), high five, high ten, shake, come, stay, wait, and catch food. Oh and some manners too. |
right now abby knows how to sit, lay down, and jump. im working on teaching her high 5 and roll over. how did you guys teach these two??? |
Meka @ 6 mo's can: sit, lay down, go fetch, come here, go potty on pad, stay, go up/down stairs... and think there's one or two more... :) |
Katie Knows the name of all her toys ! and will find the one you want when asked .Over 20 toys She knows sit laydown and roll over and come !!!she loves to play fetch - we are going to school next month Doggie school ! It should be fun . Also she will heel with me when we go walking Still practicing ! Kathy :) |

Currently Chip is 50/50 with drop it, take it, and leave it. He knows how to play fetch, and how to crawl. |
Betty will sit. Period. Juju-absolutely nothing, my poor baby...I think she is blonde!! Or I am! LOL!! :p |
Ollie (6 months) will "sit" every time and "come" only when he wants. He knows what wait means but only sometimes will. He loves to fetch but only sometimes brings it back. We are still working on training. The dumbest thing my son taught him was-- a game called "I'm gonna get ya". It was cute at first with him grabbing one of HIS toys and running through the house being chased but NOW when he wants to REALLY play it he will grab my glasses... the remote control...a pencil... |
Zoey (6mo) can: Sit lay down roll over crawl |
Izzy 9 mos. can: sit lay down speak go to her bed when I point to it do a figure eight between my legs sit and stay for at least 30 seconds wait touch (when I say the verbal command touch) she will touch whatever I point to with her nose That's it for now since we will be going to Good Citizen Class to get used to wheel chairs, etc. :animal-pa |
OMG Teddy does the same thing, but he was "taught" by accident. He wouldn't give up the toy once when we were playing fetch and now anytime he gets a hold of something (especially if he knows he's not supposed to have it, like the remote control or a sock) he takes off running and the game is on!!! I thought I was the only one, now I don't feel so bad |
Lets see.... Beau (almost 7 years): -sit -sit -sit Oh yea...and sit!!! Ha ha ha...I taught him lay down at doggy class but the minute we were done with classes he seemed to forget how to do it  . Good thing he's cute or I don't know how he would make!!! |
I almost forgot!!!! Beau also plays "Come and Get Me" too! It's his favorite game...forget about catch! ha ha ha. These yorkies...they are a breed of there own...:D not that I didn't know that already! |
