I am still just in dis-belief myself...well no, not really! I know the awesome power of God! And poor Lewis...we know all too well how he must feel right now. Maybe he could just meet Jill's Justis and see if there are any sparks there...maybe after a few days, his heart won't be so heavy over Maddie and he will find room in it for another. If not, you will always be in contact with him and can share Maddie kisses with him! He is truly an angel sent to you by God! I am so happy he found your baby and cared for her til it was time to bring her home! She is just the cutest thing in her pink stuff today!!! Pretty In Pink for sure!!! Welcome home baby girl!!! God loves you and we do too!!! And God bless Lewis!!!

Gosh, this is such an amazing story...

I can't help but think that maybe God used Maddie to bring your family and this older gentleman together. If he lives alone and is lonesome, it probably means even more to him to have people come and visit him and spend time with him than it does to have a dog. If you hold to the promise to take Maddie over to visit frequently, he'll probably be happy for the chance to visit with you as much as to visit with the dog.

Maddie is so happy to be home

Jill contacted me this morning and wanted to give the guy one of her babies, Justis. She is going to retire her from breeding and thought she would be wonderful for the man, since she is so kind hearted and wonderful. She just wanted to give her to the man (lewis is his name) I was soooo excited. I called him with the wonderful news, and he said, thanks so much, but he just couldn't Maddie was so special to him and he didnt know if he'd ever feel the same about another dog. He's going to think about it, but he doubts it.

It was sooo wonderful and caring of JIll to offer this. We figured an older yorkie would be better since he is an older gentleman. I told him we just wanted to find a way to repay him beside what I had already given him.

He said Maddie being home with her family was payment enough. We are going to go see him tomorrow

maybe take Justis with you when you go visit and see how he reacts to the other dog.

I'm still so shocked. She still looks beautiful though.

I got up put my coffee on, Feed and changed the Grandbbay and as soon as he took his nap i ran to sign in, lol Wanted to catch up on this thread, dont want to miss any thing. Im so happy shes home. I love that short cut. She has the sweetest face. I was thinking of Letting my twos hair grow back out and right now its in the inbetween stage. But now after looking at sweet maddies face Im thinking of cutting theirs back off. lol They love it short anyways.
I was offered a little Male from a breeder this morning. I allmost took him and then thought no I really want a female. so Im going to wait on the next litter. But now I cant stop thinking about that little male. lol
well sorry to go on and on. and Im so glad to catch back up on this thread. keep those pic's coming lol

I am so happy for you! I am so glad that Maddie is now back with her family. You are truly blessed to have found her! What an amazing story! And she looks adorable! :D

oh Denise, she looks so beautiful in her dress, her face looks like a teddy bear. Long hair, short hair, still adorable, an angel :)
