Teddy is my little boy-long IDk if it's cause he's a boy or a bigger yorkie or what but Teddy has a personality of his own, like way diff. than the girls. He, is the one that acts MOST like a toddler. When I see him i see like a 2 yr old boy in his eyes, it's so weird lol Everyone that meets him falls in love with him. My bf's parent's that are not dog people came here for a month and they fell in love with Teddy, his dad spoiled him so much. These are ppl that don't think dogs should live inside a house with ppl,(they have a big dog in their country that they leave outside the house) they would let Teddy sleep in the bed with them, his dad would cradle Teddy like a baby, he had them in the palm of his paws(if that makes sense lol):p The things he does reminds me of a little boy. Yesterday London was so calm on the bed and he was bothering her, jumping on her so i yelled at him to stay by my feet, and he just sat there still and looked at me but whined like a little kid like if he were thinking 'now can i go?', finally i just let him go play again 'cause my heart melted. When i leave for school he will run and jump on the couch and just watch me leave, when before he used to try to run out the front door to play, now he knows i am leaving. He will play with his toys, this toy he has that says 'i love you' when he figured out how to make it make that sound he will not let it go. He will push it and push it like a little kid to hear the sounds of it, he never gets tired of it. Even my mom said when she puts on his diaper(she invented her own type of belly bands for him that idk how to tie on right) he will stay still even tho he hates them until she puts them on and then when she's done he will go run and play happily like if he's glad to get that over with. Then today when i was running on the threadmill he ran to my room cause he hates it and just stood there watching me from the corner of his eye from my room. When i picked him up and walked on the threadmill to see if he would be less scared he clinged on to my arm and did not let go! lol He is just so funny, and i've never had a dog like this. There's so much more but those are just things that i can remember. I'm sure you guys know what i mean, please share your stories. :) |
I hear ya. Yorkies rule, and Yorkie boys rule the most! It's really hard to describe - I've loved dogs all my life. But Yorkies evoke a whole different kind of love. I have two lovely daughters that have made me so proud, and I'm so happy with my furboys now!! |
Teddy reminds me of Kodak, Kodak is so over protective of me and Kamari it's so weird. I look in his face and his eyes say things to me and I have the nerve to answer him. His tail wags like crazy when he sees me. If he hears the slightest noise, he's barks to let me know someone is there, but he's not a yapper. He is something else, my mom says he's been on this earth before. lol. Kamari is the big baby, Kodak is always meddling with her till I make him stop. He stops, sits and looks up at me like he's so sorry and will go right back to bothering her. She sits under me, follows me and watches my every move.:) |
HaHa..how cute. They all have such unique personalities. How big is Teddy? Just curious because I know London and Sophia are tiny little girls :) I loved that video of him saying Mama. I wish Lacy would do that |

Aww, Teddy sounds so sweet girl. Ok, can I share a Snoot story, LOL. :D Ok, so he's not technically a yorkie but he gets his pics posted on here enough so I think its ok, LOL. ;) My little Snooter is obsessed with ducks. I mean literally he just loves the heck out of ducks. When he was a baby he fell in love with a little bean baby duckie and the obsession grew from there. Well almost 13 years later the obsession has only gotten worse. Snoot got this new stuffed duckie about 5-6 years ago and he loves this thing so much. I can't tell you how many times I've had to sew the little holes back together and even add fabric to make a new beak. Well poor duckie got attacked by Paisley about a month ago and I didn't have time to fix him so I placed him in the hall closet until I could complete his surgery for the 100th time. I totally forgot about duckie until the other day. When I took him out of the closet Snoot's eyes got so huge. I thought he was going to attack me with joy. :D He grabbed Mr. Duckie and was shaking him all around like a little mad man. Needless to say Mr. Duckie is fixed again and Snoot's back to being in love. He also has two duckie blankets and will search for them to lay on and if the girls touch them, he will drag the blanket with whatever sister on it to one of his fav. spots. The little guy even drags my bathroom rug (its a duck) out of the bathroom and lays on it. He never touches any other rugs, just this duck one. :D I have no idea where this obsession came from but he just loves his duckies. :D |

Awww, sounds like my Benjamin. Ben is such a mummies boy, he is so cuddly and sweet, wherever I am he is. Everytime I leave the house he gives me this little face with such a sad look in his eyes, breaks my heart! |
