This makes me sad!! I don't think they love me
 
:( I really don't think my furbabies love me very much!!! I know they love me but not like everyone else. They run to everyone else all happy wigglin & tails waggin, kisses but not for me. Rowdy is 13 wks wed. Bella is 8 wks. I've had Rowdy a month & Bella 2 wks. I'm the only one that takes care of them feed,baths, mostly to go out potty clippin the bum hair nails everything. I play talk sleep with them. The grown kids HD grandkids do play with them. So what am I doin wrong???????? Or is it just me?:confused:

it is EVERY fur mom on here..... we do all the work.. up all night.... clean their bums when they are dirty... worry about them until we are sick with worry.. and it is everyone else that gets the love... we all know what you are talking about.. but you know what... when they are scared, or sick... or upset... it's mommy that they want... no one else.... it's all part and parcel of being "the mom" it's not you....

i know what you mean. I practically have to stand on my head to get a tail wag out of Otis, but the minute someone else walks in the door, that nubbin is goin 90 to nothin!!!

but like marcerella said when she is scared she runs straight to me. I think they may not show how much they love you but they do depend on you when they need it most. I get a small kiss in the morning. maybe a small tail wag. of course anyone else walks in and she goes nuts.

Thanks everyone it 's nice to know i'm not alone. It's the same for me when scared or hurt they run to me. I also get occasional tail wag & kiss:)

lol... as the mom you learn to CHERISE those kisses and tail wags! i also find if i'm gone all day (which i have been lately with school... she had gotten used to seing me all day every day over the summer) she snuggles up with me when i see her at the end of the day... best part of my day :)

awwww they're still young, give them time.

I'm lucky, Jake is a big-time mama's boy, so he ALWAYS wants me around him! He follows me everywhere and I love it! He plays with my husband alot, and he loves him too, but it's always mama he wants.:)

Benji is the same.....favors the other dog, who favors my DH , so they are always with him it seems, and Benji is NOT a snuggler !!!! I bought this dog for ME......but I guess I shoulda got fish ?!?!? Hee Hee !!!

When did you get Bella? When she was 6wks?

I guess I must be blessed with a little love bug because my girl goes crazy for me and I am her first choice. Yeah!!!!!! I thought this was normal yorkie behaviour. I will never take it for granted. Thanks for the eye opener.

I have to say mine are lubby dubby with me, except for Sebastian who is independent. Yet as stated if anything is going on he runs for momma.

Me, too, I've been lucky with Izzy - she is definitely mom's girl but she also loves her daddy and everyone else that she comes into contact with but she follows me everywhere when I'm home and free with all kisses and tail wags. I was also blessed with my two boys back in the day - they were my little shadows as well. I thought that's just how Yorkies are but I see that's not always the case.

I'm sure they still love you and as others have mentioned - they know who to go to when they really need that special attention and assurement. ;)
