missing link question if i give reese missing link, what other supplements should i be giving her?? does missing link have the probiotics and enzymes in it, as well as fatty acids?? |
Missing Link's formula is rich in flaxseed, the richest vegetable source of Omega-3, providing 1000 mg per tablespoon, plus lignans, protein, and fiber. Missing Link's formula delivers "living molecules" naturally occurring in whole foods, and often "missing" from our diets, such as enzymes, friendly bacteria, and phytonutrients (disease-fighting, health-benefiting, naturally-occurring plant molecules such as pectin, carotenoids, glucarates, flavonoids, terpenes, liminoids, lycopenes, coumarins, and phenolic acids). Pick some up today. The Missing Link comes in a powder which is added to the your pet's food. I found this on their website. |

Do you homecook or do you feed kibble? |
Kibble..i was going to try homecooking, but am not sure what to do exactly as reese has allergies and chicken tends to make them worse... |
You could try using a white fish. Is she allergic to fish? If she's on kibble, missing link is a good supplement. I don't think you need to add anything for omega-3's because that's what the missing link is for. It also has digestive enzymes(I think). You might add vitamin E if you want. As far as probiotics go, you can give some nonfat organic plain yogurt everyday for probiotics. Cottage cheese contains prebiotics. There are several kind of probiotics on the market as well if your dog is allergic to milk products. |
I use Missing Link to dry dog food. I do not use any other supplements |
