Barking My Jazzi has discovered her voice and now uses it all the time. What can I do, it's driving me crazy. Rachel |

I agree with you, I wouldn't want to use the sound thing. My Jazzi is like a little diva. She doesn't just bark when she hears things, sometimes she just starts barking out of the blue and just keeps going. She is only 10wks old could this be some of it? She used to not bark this much, that's why I was saying maybe she just found her voice and likes to hear herself. Thanks for the advise. If I can ever link her barking to something, bombarding her with that sound makes a lot of sense. Rachel |
My Yorkie, Andy is 2 years old, and barks alot. A friend told me to try a citronella bark collar. When the dog barks it sprays citranella. I guess dogs don't like the smell. I just ordered one on line and will try it out tomorrow when I take Andy for a walk |
I have read on here many times that shaking pennies in a can when the dog starts barking startles the dog and when she stops barking..give her a small reward such as a treat of even a good girl pat on the head.. Dawn |
I, too, heard that people had good results with a can of pennies or pebbles. We have 2 little guys. One just learned to bark and the other still doesn't. Hope it does not get out of control here...:rolleyes: |
