Does anyone know if their made in the US or do they come from China? I sent an email to Petedge.com, and am waiting for their reply.

we got a few of them from Jenn/Mojo for our gift exchange and I checked them. Made in China.

We have several Zanie toys. When I went through the girls' toys they are all made in China. It is so sad to throw away or put up almost all of our babies toys. I have just had it with China.

I just went thru the girls toy box. They have 18 Zanie toys.......ALL made in China. Aren't there any toys made in the USA?

I do believe 99% of everything is made in China....... I am not throwing out any toys i feel if they were going to get sick from them it would have already happened. I don't believe that the plush toys are really a concern just mainly things that have been painted and tennis balls. I hope this all gets resolved soon but i feel if you are looking for something made in the USA you will be dissapointed. Also just beause it says it's made here doesn't mean that the stuff to make it wasn't purchased over seas. Everything from dishes, clothes, shoes, toothbrushes, to everything we as humans use everyday is made in china we would have nothing to use if we threw everything out lol.

Ive had my Zanie toys for 6 months...I wont throw them out..if 6 months has gone by and they are still alive and kicking I think they are just fine..

Diddy has alot of Zanie toys and he has been fine. If I took them away he would be devastated!

I agree with you on this. People might disagree with me but I only threw out the rubber toys. Didn't make much difference because she likes her stuffed toys anyhow. She has had them for a while and hasn't gotten sick from any of them so I think she should be fine. There is too much stuff that is made in some foreign country and we use it. If we tried to get rid of everything I definitely think we wouldn't have much left. I think getting rid of all their stuff would be too excessive.

All I have here is Zanies too, and I really don't want to throw them away, because they've been here so long and nobody's gotten sick.

Ditto - I wouldn't purchase any toy that has been painted or the tennis balls. I also did not toss fabric toys (Hide a Squirrel). I also believe that even if the item is made in the USA that some component of that item is from China or overseas so I would have nothing left in the house.

I was afraid to post this:rolleyes: I don't want anyone to think I'm a bad mom!:eek:

I think the rubber stuff was worrysome but the stuffed stuff not really. The reality of it is due to manufacturing cost most things are made over seas. I think if it's not a direct item that is specfied it's not necessary to chuck it all but that is just my personal opinion and the way I am doing things.

I agree. I threw out treats, but plush toys I am letting mine play with. They have always had toys from Old Navy and never any toys. So thats the only place that I am getting there toys at:)

I kept the hide a squirrel also. There are so many people that have it and I haven't heard of anyone getting sick from it.

I think a lot of us (I know I was) afraid to post that they were keeping their toys because of the backlash that might come at us...lol. Glad to see that I a not the only one not throwing out toys.

I know some ppl want NO toys for the GE that are from China, but I think some don't mind. So somehow we need to post something about that so that others can know if you wouldn't mind plush toys from China.. get what I am saying?

I agree everyone has their own opinion about what they would like to have.. Me i personally don't mind getting plush toys in fact i wanted to get my buddy the hide a squirle but now i am afraid that they would not want it:( It's hard to tell who doesn't want anything from china and who doesn't mind so i hope that everyone will speak freely on how they feel. I think this whole thing may put a damper on the GE:(

I've been told that there is space in the email that you can list what you want and don't want when you sign up for the GE. A lot of YTers are going to be doing that.

I haven't gotten rid of any toys either. I have a lot of Zanie plush toys and to tell you the truth, they get torn apart so quickly around here, I am not worried. I am glad they are inexpensive the way my dogs go through them.:rolleyes:

me personally I listen to what ever one says, I ponder it in my head and then I do what I think is best for me and my dogs, sometimes it right and sometimes it not. :)

I went to PetSmart and Petco today. All toys made in China. I got them new nylabones. Only thing made in the USA. I gave them some of their toys back from China. I know it is mainly the pain from China, but everything is from China.
