What do your Yorkies do for fun!? Mine will play fetch by herself if she has energy and I am ignoring her. She will grab a toy or whatever she can find that is around her and toss it and then chase after it, its the funniest thing Ive ever seen a dog do before. Was wondering if anyone else has a yorkie who gets creative?? |
Maddie does the same thing. She will find a toy. Then she's run around it and pounce on it. Sometimes she'll put it in a shoe and then try to get it out. Or she'll put it behind the curtain and pretend like she can't find it. :p |

Tbone has a thing for catnip mice, and he likes to throw them up in the air and try to catch them, or toss them around and then pounce. He loves catnip for some reason! |
I have 3, so if one wants to Play and I ignore him or her, than he or she usually starts to play with one another. Or sometimes they will just Beg and Yap until i Give in....LOL :) |
Golf Club Cover Toy I dont give stuffed toys to Chelsea due to the danger. She tears the label, and goes after the stuffing. My DH was once cleaning out his golf closet in the garage, and he was throwing away some golf club covers, he had won in a tournament, and wasnt using them, basicially new. Chelsea adopted them, and now plays with one, she carries it her mouth for hours, then will play with it. She will shake it so hard, sometimes, it goes flying across the room, then she pounces on it. I kept the others and, put them away, for a rainy day, in case she loses or tears it up. She loves her "baby", and will find it early in the morning. Nothing like waking up, with a Yorkie :aimeeyork in your face, with a wet golf club cover in her mouth. OH JOY! :D |

All I have to do is break off a little piece of a milkbone and Riley will just play with it and flip it around for a long time...he doesn't end up eating it for like 3 days..he just loves to play with it...he also loves his Bo Bo toy..its the one from that petsmart commercial with the dachshund...it is long but he loves to carry that around...so cute!!;) |
My two do the chase and zoomies like their butts on fire. :D |
Chip will start taking a bunch of toys out of his toy box and then decide which squeky must die! Or he will be lazy and go into his snuggle ball and take a nap. |
Pixie is a demon..i swear! her favourite thing is chasing crane flies then chewing them up! we get alot of them this time of the year. she also likes crunching up small snails! :p |
My little guy will antagonize my not so sweet cat. He knows to keep the right distance from her so he does not get scratched and he will run around her. Sometimes he will grab her tail and take off before she can get him. It is funny but can get crazy because he barks at her. |
My two play tug-of-war with each other ALL the time. Tatum will attack her brother for fun, and drive him totally crazy :p She will also bite him on the butt (she has done this since she was a baby) - which he totally does not appreciate :p They also run through the house and LIGHTENING SPEEDS chasing each other - they are just the silliest things! They eat! They just love to eat, the look in their eyes at feeding times is just fantastic :D They also chase eachother round the house, throw toys about, run around the garden like loons and they adore walks too :) |
Diddy will dig out every toy that is in his toybox. He plays with one for a few minutes and then goes for a different one. He will also drag his bed around the house. |
Koda it's very playfull...My favorite part is: When I am working on the laptop she comes with her stick, toys, etc...and place them on top of my keyboard...The way she sakes her head and throws the toys it's the funniest:aimeeyork |
Yorkie Fun Yes, both of my Yorkies love to toss toys and chase them. Samson also likes to jump on the back of the sofa when he hears me come through the gate. Both enjoy "killing" an old sock tied in a knot. Be sure to wash it several times to get your scent out so they don't go after the good ones. Most of all, my two enjoy playing with each other. Two Yorkies are a millions times more fun than one. I'm thinking about getting a third. |
:D My two boys play fight, chase each other, steal each others bully sticks, and then steal Lexie & Peanuts stuff and for there more enjoyable entertainment they chase the cats:rolleyes: :p |
Seymour is usally entertained watching Shelby get into stuff!! :eek: Today he layed on the patio with his eyes watching her every move. Lately it is the plastic 1 gallon watering can that we keep on the patio. Shelby will nudge it with her paw (or sometimes "headbutt" it) and it will teeter back and forth ALMOST falling over..... and she will jump back and bark at it. This continues until she succeeds to tip it over and then it falls over and "rattles" on the patio brick. Which makes her so excited... she jumps and barks at it for a long time. Then we put it back to an upright position and the process starts all over again. :) |

winston chases my fluffball of a cat Max around the house and bites his furr lol needless to say max is not a huge fan of these activities ! |
