Had a meltdown today... Today was a rough day...I think I am just too overprotective and worry about everything with this guy...I don't want him to get hurt and I want to do everything right...I have never had a puppy before so I never really knew what to expect. I haven't eaten hardly anything in 4 days so that could be part of my problem...just anxious and I have been so busy...sometimes I just forget to eat...so I called this place that we are taking Riley to next month for obedience training and they have beginner home training where they will come out and give us a program to work with Riley on about housetraining and biting and all of that...I think that will help me ALOT just to know exactly what to do...right now I think I know what I am doing...but it will be nice to have some guidence:) I feel alot better knowing that she will be coming...it has helped my anxiety already:) I love Riley so much and I don't to be a bad mom...:( |
I am sure you are being a very good mom. Just use your better jusgement and you will be a great mom.. Good luck with the puppy training, im sure that will help ease your mind. |
good luck!! I am sure you will do great :) |
Good luck with everything! When I get a puppy I am going to be a nervous wreck! |
It's all good. You will do fine. Reeelaaaax:) |
First time Momma and everything will be okay. Have confidence in yourself and make sure you eat! Take care, Deborah |
Awww...it will get better, at least it has somewhat for me thank goodness. I was such a nut case when I brought Lucy home my husband finally insisted I only visit the "happy places" on YT for a while. Every time I came home I was telling him about an emergency or disease or accident I had read about and he suggested (strongly) that until I was more at ease with Lucy I may want to stay out of those sections. You know what? He was right. Now that I'm more comfortable I am able to go to all the threads and not personalize everything I read! I'm not suggesting you do this but for ME it really helped. Not that I'm still not a nut case but at least I don't run out the door with Lucy to the vet every time she has gas...LOL :) |
