Congrats Kim and Lexie! Great job, and wonderful news! I've been checking on here all morning looking for an update-then wouldn't you know it, I went to lunch and missed it! I was so happy to come back and see this thread!

Those are really touching pictures of the new puppies. I'm tearing up here at work just seeing them :( I can't believe there were two instead of three either-but glad to hear you have a new little furgirl an furboy to enjoy! Are you planning to keep one or both of them? I'm so excited for you!

Thanks everyone...I get to go them them around 3 or 4, they are going to call me, they said Lexie is still alittle out of it and she still trying to figure it out...the puppies are doing great, they are moving around so much that they had to put a little makshift gate in front of the crate....for the time being we are going to call the boy Monkey....Kimberly (Simon&Hallie) is going to call him Chunky Monkey:D :D :D :D :D

I love the name Jasmine.....!! I have a Jasmine who is due to give birth in 9 days... she goes for XRAYS on Wednesday.

I also have a Butch, Mickey and Rocky.... feel free to use one of those names for the boy!! ;)

Kim, Congratulations to you and Lexie on the new babies. I am so glad she had one of each. That is PERFECT! Sunshine had a c-section too and had 1 of each. The boy was 3.5 oz and the girl was 3.7 oz. Now the boy is over 5 lb and the girl is 3 1/2 lbs. Beamer did some major catching up! You are really going to enjoy these babies. I think 2 is the perfect number. They were fun to raise. Congratulations again!

I think my heart just melted into a big puddle! Chunky Monkey and Jasmine are just adorable. Give Lexie a big fat kiss from me and tell her that she did so good and she will be the best mommy ever :)

I can't wait to watch them grow and explore the world :)

Oh they are adorable!!! Congrats and prayers to Lexie and the 2 little ones! I bet your soooooooooo excited to go and get them! How cool is that, that you got to be there! Too cool!!!

I must have missed it somewhere but why did Lexie need a c-section? I'm soooooooooo happy for you!

everyone is doing well we have been home about 2 hours now, Lexie still isn't sure about the puppies, she is nursing but doesn't want much to do with them, I know its because she is in pain also...but we weighed the puppies before I left the vet, cause the told me 3.5 ounces and I told them no way, so we weighed again(I watched) and they both weigh 3.5 ounces, I am going to weigh them later tonight too...here are a couple of pics I took when we got home...:)
