Hurray!! Not allergic to the dog!! My daughter had her allergy testing done today and did not react to dog!! Hurray!!! She has been miserable since the day after we brought him home. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to keep him. Now, I just can't hold him too long (or else I break out in hives), and we're ok. So, now, my little Spike wouldn't go out in the rain today. He stood under me and the umbrella. He also seems to like to poo in my bedroom. I usually don't let him in there, but it seems that nobody else in my family can keep a 4lb dog out of my room when I'm not home. Yep, we are still potty training... Liz:aimeeyork |
Congrats! Hope everything continues to go well. |
yay thats good :) |
That is great news. I hope though they figured out what your daughter is allergic to. |
How great for you. You must be been very relieved to hear that the allergy testing for dogs was negative. I know how hard it is to deal with allergies. I have two DS's with food and enviromental allergies. |
Yes, we were relieved. Turns out she reacts to grass, trees, and cats (funny, because we have 2!). We were pretty happy. Thanks, Liz:D |
Wow! What great news about testing negative to your pup (not so good news about being allergic to cats since you have 2!!). :animal-pa |
response to cats Yeah, but the reaction to cats was small. Our cats are 1 and 5 yrs old and she had many symptom free days. We just decided to keep them out of her room at night to help. The cats are out most of the day too, so that helps. :animal-pa |
I am so happy that your pup is not the problem. Sorry to hear she reacts to the cats. |

That is great. Glad it is not that bad for her. |
Great News! Frequent bathing will probably be the solution to less allergies in your household.. it helps for me. Our pups can carry so much in on their fur (pollen, ect) :). |
Glad things are working out for you. The potty training will come in time. |
