How does your Yorkie sleep when on your lap?? 1 Attachment(s) Winstin was on my lap sleeping today and I thought this was cute and would be a fun post. I think he is grinning a little. I rock him while he sleeps at least a couple times a day. Do your Yorkie's sleep on our lap and if so how do they lay?? I was lucky and the camera was right beside me! |

Im jealous. Zoey doesn't want to be held when she is sleepy. I try to hold her like a baby and she wont let me...:( I am hoping she gets more cuddly as she gets older. I wish I could hold Winstin!!! |

Sadie sleeps in a fetal position on my lap when I'm sitting here at my computer. Wish I could get a pic of her, but it would be practically impossible!!! :p |

Jake sleeps on my lap in that same position or he will curl up in a ball. He loves to lay on my chest or stomach with his head on my chest. If I lay down with him, he gets as close as he possibly can and puts his head in my neck. He's so sweet! |
That is just to cute. Charlie is now to old to hold in my lap and rock him. He would not stay still long enough.lol |
Thanks everyone. Believe me I do give him tons of hugs and kisses. However, you can only rock him if he is tired. When it gets around our bed time he will follow me no matter where I go and bark. If I sit and do not pick him up he paws at me and tries to climb onto my lap. He lays all kinds of funny ways no matter if we are in my rocking recliner or if we go to bed. These Yorkies are so funny. :) |

I wish!!! My Benjamin is so independent he never wants to cuddle with me, unless i just get home. I wonder if there is something i can do to encourage him to be more cuddley and affectionate |

Chip sleeps/lays on my lap when its computer time, which is the only time he is allowed on furniture. He usually lays across my lap while i rub his belly, he's 14 lbs so its kinda hard for him to curl up without spilling over on the chair. |

:) Scooter comes to work with me. I bought a long, narrow pillow which fits across my lap and up against my desk. He can sleep in my lap on the pillow and I can still work on my computer, etc. People come in and say "Oh, he's not spoiled one little bit"! |

They are tooooo cute. My Momiji will sleep on my lap until she gets too hot, then start to move away from me one paw at a time!!! Also when she is worry that I may leave her home alone, she will sleep on my lap try to keep me home!!! |
Beau is a LONG 13 pounds but he will curl up into a ball as tightly as possible because heaven FORBID he doesn't get to sit on my lap the minute my butt hits a chair! Yet, I still have to cross my leg over the other to give him more surface area! :D When we are on the couch he will sit with his...better half on me and his little butt on my boyfriend. The more then merrier I guess! At night Beau sleeps with his head on his paws right inbetween me and my boyfriend :) . If I lay too close to my boyfriend, Beau will come and lay right on top of me and fall asleep like nothing is different, its hysterical! |

Boo bah curls up like a snake or she'll lie on her back on my lap. As soon as I move 1/4 inch her ears perk up, I wonder if she ever really goes into a deep sleep? Today we went to the park and I laid down on the blanket, she came up and laid on my stomach. Im trying to get her sleep cycle turned around. She'll be wide awake 2 3 4 in the am and then she catches up on her sleep in the mid-morning! And this is the clincher, when she is wide awake at that hour, she runs up and down the corridor of the house, up and down the stairs and when she's tired, she starts to jump on the side of the bed so she can get some shut eye!:D |
