We entered the BEST DRESSED contest... 3 Attachment(s) ...and we didn't win. :( Oh well, it was fun anyway and in my eyes she was the winner. It was Saturday at Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. It was so hot that day. Everyone was taking pictures of Kalina and telling me that she was so cute and was going to win. That kind of got my hopes up. LOL Kalina was dressed as Betsy Ross and I thought she looked adorable. I thought you might like to see the winners too! 3rd place - a little bulldog (?) dressed as a turkey 2nd place - a little dog dressed as a college student 3rd place - a chihuahua dressed as a taco It was really a fun day with free food and drinks. I got two free professional photos taken of Kalina which I will post later when I can scan them in. :) |

Kalina is so cute as Betsy Ross...did you make the costume or someone on YT? Those winners were cute - I thought the bulldog in the turkey outfit was hilarious. Can't wait to see the free professional pics you got taken at this event...that alone made it worth attending I bet. ;) |

It was made by a yorkie lover and owner, but I don't think she's on YT. She was nice enough to make it for me in two days, including the hat, and for that I am extremely grateful. She's just a lovely woman and so willing to help - as are the people on YT, of course. :) |

Great pictures. I wanted to go but I had to go out of town for the weekend. Sorry to hear it was so hot. I feel like the last year or two it was a month or two later. |

2 Attachment(s) Here are the two pics the photographer took. I scanned them in, but they aren't that great - professional pictures don't scan well IMO. But at least you can get a pretty good idea.:) My daughter calls the first pic "I should have had a V8". And in the second pic I think she looks so much older than 5 months. |
Awww darn! :( I am so very sorry to hear that she didn't win but what you know what?? She is still ADORABLE and her costume was precious as well! I agree with Des too - she will ALWAYS be a winner here so it doesn't even matter :p I gotta say though, that little Taco (just the costume itself) is so cute!! LOL. BUT - I still think Kalina should of won!!! |
