Question? To trust or not 2?
 

I am hearthbroken, I placed a tread a while back and I was selling and or donating Koda's items that she never used. A few people here accepted some of her donations and I had to pay for the shipping, I was not looking to make a profit I just wanted the items to be used my other Yorkies and as a generosity I didn't have a problem mailing them at my own cost....But not even a thank you or a simple note....How's that for anyone? In my dictionary I believe that transalates to ungrateful :(

Did you send them to people you have chatted with on here, or did you just ask who wanted them?

I have sent several gifts to people of items Gizmo has grown out of or whatever, but I sent them to people I've been chatting with on this site. Fortunately, I have ALWAYS received a sweet thank you post about the item or a nice private message.

Once again, I applaud your generosity. :thumbup:

I send to people who I was talking to here and new ones as well....I guess I was very trustworthy....But that's not nice:thumbdown I hope they are enjoying them....

Some people just have NO manners!!!! I would never think of receiving a gift or donation without sending a thank you note!!!
This was very sweet of you to do. Those that rec'd your free donations and did not thank you should be ashamed of themselves. That was the least that could of done!!!!

Hope some humans were more polite

I agree a simple thank you would have sufficed and it would have been cute if they would have taken a pic of their baby wearing the clothes and post it thanking you!

I'm so sorry that happened to you....It must of felt as if your gifts weren't appreciated .....It's too bad you tried to do a good thing and now your feeling bad instead....Try not let this ruin the fact that you did a decent thing and your heart was in the right place.....we can't control others behaviors....so sad...what has happened to common decency?

Hi Im sorry you got your feelings hurt. They should of said thank you. I dont think it has anything to do with trust though. Whats to trust ? or not to trust? You did some thing very nice and it showed you are a great person. and you even paid to have the stuff sent thats very nice. That other person who recieved the stuff should come and tell you thank you, Its not very nice to take the stuff and not give you a thank you for your gifts, time and money spent to have them get this stuff.
Maybe they havent been on, I would pm them and ask if they got the stuff. Hope you feel better.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I loved your montage of Koda! It was fabulous! Easier said than done, but I think you did an awesome job of taking your hurt and translating it to something really special. Your video was a neat tribute to your special baby!

P.S. You should think about going into business for those of us who are too technology-challenged to do that for our special furbaby! :)

ohhh that's messed up. I have given away stuff for free here, clothes if a baby needed them but i have always gotten a thank you and pictures. I think it is only right the person posts pictures and say a big thank you. I have also gotten a free package from a very nice person here and made sure to say thank you cause she went out her way and is very kind. It is only right. I'm sorry whoever you sent items to did not say thank you :(

Oh your montage of Koda is so cute - she has the cutest face. You are a good person to do what you did - don't let a few ruin your good natured heart. I know you feel that way now but most people are appreciative of good gestures. You did a good thing and that's what makes you and Koda feel good. :D

Well, that just stinks. Maybe they weren't raised the way I believe most of us here were raised and don't know any better. But think of the furbabies that got something nice. I'm sure they would thank you if they could type or write.

You know, the fact that people didn't respond to you has nothing to do with you or your generosity. Not everyone has been raised to think of responding appropriately when someone does something nice for them. And - they may respond yet. I've gotten thank you notes way past the event!

Your video of your baby is lovely - she was such a sweetie, wasn't she. You can just tell by her looks and by your love for her.

That is so inconsiderate .... makes you really wonder ... you want to do nice things, yet people do not reciprocate in kind.

maybe www.freecycle.com would be better for you??? You can offer things and people come by and get it. You are still altruistic and you can see the happiness you give others.:smile:
