Congrats on the new puppy. And you are correct, Rotties are not for everyone. For the record, before breeding I OFA certify my dogs, DNA, Bruchellious (sp?) tests, Super Chem Panels, etc. I do have a genetic warranty on my puppies. |
Awww, a rottie! How wonderful! I love rotties, and want one so bad, but my boyfriend says only one big dog, and I'm holding out for a Shar Pei (my other favorite big dog). |
job well done ... You are a responsible pet owner and you did the right thing .... Yorkies are a delicate breed and considerably different from Rotties (which I have heard are extremely loyal) ... Good Luck .... |
Welcome to YT;) Congratulations on finding your new furbaby. Our Mandy who is a Rottie thinks she's a Yorkie. Roxanne was the same way, bless her heart she passed away on us at 12 years old. I think it's great you did all your research before getting a furbaby. It took me years to find Princess. There were lots of them out there, but I was looking for my Princess and knew someday I would find her. Cost wasn't a factor, it was the look in her eyes that told me she was the one. It wasn't easy, as we looked at many, we would have came home with one the very first day if it was up to my kids. But I took my time, and I'm more than happy with my baby girl. I'm home with her everyday, and where ever I go she's right with me. Mandy gets to go sometimes, but it's kind of hard to take her to a store, unless it's a pet store. I wish you lots of happy times with your new furbaby. He/She is very lucky to have you. Please let us know more about your furbaby;) Oh and one last thing, you really don't have to go anywhere, why leave this site, you have a love for Yorkies and that's really all that is needed. Maybe one day you will find one, and just think of all the research you will have if you stay. So hang around, and enjoy your love for the yorkie breed. :hearts-xx |
