How long will she have her visit from her Aunt Flow and like with women does it come monthly? It came on so sudden and we were a bit unprepared and the only place open at this hour is Meijer (24 Hour store kinda like Target) and there selection of pet stuff is crap. The best option for the night was to get her some premature baby diapers cause that fit her weight category. Tomorrow we will head to the pet store and get the right stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is most comfortable for dogs as far as diaper options cause these baby diapers look like torture for her. She is walking around as if she has a hunch back. Also if anyone can drop me some info on this whole thing that would be awesome too. | LOL, Hmmmm OK lets see, for tonight I think she will be fine. The pet stores have some special diapers just for our furbabies;) We have some members on here who sell really cute ones too. As far as how long, well lets just say for the next three weeks you're going to be busy. Princess will be in heat, and will only need to wear diapers for a week or so. But she is still in heat.
Every furbaby is different, our Rottie is in full heat for a little over two weeks, and then just spots a little, but I don't take any chances, I always keep her away from males for 4 weeks.
Here's a website for you to look at, it might give you a better idea. http://www.debbiejensen.com/heat_cycle.html
Best of luck to you!:) |
