someone tried to take Deiter
 

:mad: I was sitting outside with Deiter. I was next to our camper, Deiter was on his lead. While sitting there just enjoying the nice evening, Deiter was at the end of the camper, so know one could see me. I was watching him play with an empty water bottle. I hear these people say. Oh look there is a Yorkie lets go get it. Well guess what when they came around the camper and Deiter barking and not very nice bark, here they seen me. I said may I help you. LOL they said we seen your Yorkie and just wanted to come see it up close. I said that is not what I heard. So do we need to call the police or what...... I think they might have pooped there pants because they where not excepting to see me there. Then they said well we were just joking. I said that is not a joke. I will watch to see what car you get into. Then I will call my Dad beings he is a officer. You should have seen the look on there face then.... I love it. I said I will tell you what you have less than 30 sec to get out of here. (while I am dialing my Dad) They ran.
I just had to tell you all about this story. I am so glad that I never ever leave Deiter outside by him self.. But I do think that he might have bite them if they got close enough. I wish he would have maybe next time they would think twice....:thumbup:

well im glad you were out there and everything ended up okay! Some people these days! Its so sad! just horrible!

OMG! I'm glad you were out there and heard them. Their reactions make them guilty, if they were just joking I don't think they would've been so scared. Is your dad really a police officer and if so did you tell him?

yes, my Dad is an officer. I told him and gave him the kind of car and part of the plate, They left so fast that I didn't get it all. But Dad said they will work on it and let me know if they come across with anything. Dad said if they do find out they will bring them here to me so I can ID them. Who knows what will happen but it is a start. If nothing else maybe they will put the word out that you can get caught if you know what I mean.

That is SO frightening! I am definitely too scared to let my dogs off of a leash. Betty, sometimes, in the fenced backyard with me there. Juju...NEVER! A bird could carry her away!

That's good. Is there a law that can get them in trouble since they planned on taking him? Or even if another yorkie in the area shows up missing, they can get questioned. Maybe you can even sue them in civil court? I hope the most that can be done is done to these people, imagine if you weren't there and he was outside alone!

I don't know if there is any laws. But I would love it if they did find them. Then they would know that I wasn't joking. LOL
But trust me I will do what I can to stop or make them think twice. I have been looking for them. We live right next to a rock climbing place and there drive way coming in is ours and they park there cars right next to our building. So trust me I am looking for them also. I sit out there every night. Once we move the camper them I can move so they won't be able see me from the street. But if I do see them pull in I will be calling the police.
