Creepy neighbor and creepier comment So I have a creepy neighbor. I mean, really creepy. He looks it, he acts it, the whole nine yards. So today he saw Susanah. I had her out in the front yard going potty. He commented on how cute she was. The usual stuff. THEN HE SAID: "You'd better watch it, she's so cute she might just come up missing one day." So I said, "Well, we have thousands of pictures of her, she is microchipped and tattoed (that was a little white lie, she isn't yet but she damn sure will be ASAP), and if anyone ever took her we would make sure they got put UNDER the jail IF they lived that long!" Who says something like that? Now I am scared to leave Susanah home. If anything ever happened to her I would die. |
ACK! What a weirdo:eek:!!!! Someone made a comment like that to my friend about her newborn son:mad: Gee, I wonder why he still sleeps in their room (along with their second child, a daughter)?!?!?! |
Wow, what a crazy thing to say!! Do you have an alarm system? |
That is creepy! I'd keep an eye on him.. Are you close/friendly with your neighbors?? If you are, I'd tell them what happened so atleast they're be many eyes on him! I'm sure yall be okay!..Maybe that's his way of flirting ...hmmm.. |

Susanah has been what is keeping me sane since losing my Annie-Belle. If I lost Susanah too I would literally fall apart. |
whoa! What a freak! |
Omg that is really scary! Don't take your eyes off her for a second! What a horrible man :( |
A real jerk! Be vigilant wherever puppy goes... |
Yikes! I would keep a close eye on her. |

and she is a cutie too!!! How old is she and how much does she weigh??? I don't blame you for being concerned with all the snatching going on!!! |
Susanah is 23 weeks old. She weighs almost 5 pounds now. I told her that we might just potty inside from now on. I hate doing that to her because she really likes going outside. She can still go outside when we go bye bye, but I think while we are home she needs to use the pee pee pads. |
With such a creep for a neighbor I would sleep with one eye opened!! Probably didn't mean anything by it but these days you just never know. |
I would talk to your neighbors about it, so they can keep an eye out for him, and I'd have to ask him what he meant by what he said. Freako |
cant even trust your own neighbors anymore... super freak i would say |
Certainly not taking up for the guy, but, do you think he may have just been joking, kidding around with you? Some people do think comments like that are funny. Like you said, creepy, but maybe harmless?? |

I would mention next time you see him that you had a security system with camera installed even if you didn't get a sticker from one. |
Yeah, Id be concerned too... Make sure you got a good alarm system and definately get her chipped soon! |
I would not take my eyes off her :aimeeyork for a minute. You hear about little dogs missing all the time. I do not trust people especially then it came to my Yorkies. |

I think he was kidding and didn't really mean anything by it. I can remember in the past hearing people say that. Don't worry too much. I think if he was planning on taking her he would keep the idea to himself. |
Just to be on the safe side, I would let other neighbors know. He may have been joking and just has a very OFF sense of humor, but better safe than sorry. |
OMG! He is creepy. |
I am definitely having her chipped ASAP. He *may* have been joking, but I still don't trust him. I could never imagine saying something like that to someone. |
Tell him that you have a ghost protecting your property! A really mean poltergeist that loves your baby! |
what a weirdo! people like these make me scared to leave my baby alone...i hope he just doesnt know how to make small talk and he not an actual dog napper. maybe try to get an alarm system?? |
He is creepy... |
That's scary...made my stomach turn  If someone said that about my babies I don't think I would ever let my babies out of my site. |
