Hallie's Head in a Hide A Squirrel!!!!! I went to take a shower and it was taking me awhile since I have a blister on my ankle and was trying to hold my leg up (yea I know, wear band-aids) so anyway........normally when I shower Simon goes to bed and Hallie gets her squeeky toys and brings them into the bathroom. I wasn't really paying attention but when I got out I realized Hallie wasn't there and I couldn't hear any squeeking. I looked in the bed and there was Simon then I start to hear this serious scratching noise so I walk into the living room and poor Hallie had her head stuck in the hide a squirrel!  I said her name and she started to run but she couldn't see so she was falling all over and I was seriously trying to NOT crack up! All I could see was this tiny little body with that big nest on her head! I have no idea how long she was stuck but when I got that off I swear she had the biggest smile on her face. I'm still laughing~ |
That does sound funny! Was she upset by it at all? I've often wondered if Gizmo was going to get his head stuck, but he hasn't so far. Hey! Where's the photo? :D |
What no pictures!! :D Poor Hallie! |
was hoping for pictures too - but you did such a good with your descriptive narrative that I was laughing anyway! |
I can't quit laughing bless her heart, I know its not funny Hallie, but I can just see one of mine doing the same thing.....give her some hugs & kisses from us mommy, Hallie big Max(GSD) will tell you watch out for those squirrels, one tried to bite him the other day when he finally got it corner it jump at him, he ran like a baby then went back for more....:D :p :p :p |
1 Attachment(s) Sissy intentionally puts her head inside her hid-a-squirrel and shakes it around!!!!! So, I definitely can picture Hallie!!! |
HAHAHAHAHAHA That's exactly what it looked like except I think she was stuck for awhile without anyone to rescue her. I bet Simon saw her and laughed (I think he has a snoopy laugh)!!!!!! I wish I had my camera, it was so cute but scary for her I think. I'm still laughing. She won't go anywhere near it now!!! |
how funny |
That is so funny! I'm laughing so hard just thinking about it! And then, the pic of Sissy actually with the hide a squirrel trunk on her head, I am ROLLING! Milli did that right when she got hers too, and I laughed hysterically! Thanks for a great laugh today, I needed it! |
that's funny! you guys keep making me want to get one of those! |

That is just to funny...:biggrin8: |
That is so... funny and cute at the same time. :D :) I thought that was really sweet when you said she was smiling when you took the nest off of her head. :aimeeyork |
Stuck & Disconnected!! Bogey has gotten it stuck soo many times that now it has been chewed between the holes & is ONE big hole that he can still put his head in, but obviously better to shake & rattle inside !! Needless to say we've already replaced the squirrels twice !:D |
LOL poor Hallie. Jake is always sticking his head in the hide-a-squirrel too.:D |
Harley does the same thing, so when we go to work we must put the Log up so he is safe all day. It is a funny sight though. The 7 puppies just love the squirrels!! |

How funny. And I have witnessed it here too. Bailey does the stick the head in and shake like crazy thing. I bet Simon watched her and said. and laughed. The real scare was when my baby kitty got in the thing and popped out when Bailey went by he was serioulsy  he thought the squirrels really came alive. Kitty's too big now.. I've tried to stuff her in there..too big.. LOL |
