Clothes you can buy them on here, which I recommend because ppl on here know the shape anf sizes of yorkies bodies, which makes it fit better than getting clothes from Petsmart, etc. Go Fetch, Pocomutt (she makes custom clothes) Tinkerbells Closet, Sissy angel wear, lots more. Sorry if I left you out. |

Here's a list of stuff I got for Teddy: Dog Shampoo and Conditioner Hairdryer (I blow dry him, he LOVES this so much better than towels, so he isn't walking around damp) Pet Wipes Dog Food Dog Toys (I got him a lot of toys that squeak, he still has fun with those, nyla bones, um, pixie sticks from beyondspoiled.com, um, some pet stores make this baby keys.. they are plastic, he LOVES those) Flea Comb (for his eye boogies) Dog Brush Bed Blankets harness leash collar (strictly for the tags, and not for walking) clothes (you can find a list of good places to shop for clothes on YT, they have them under product reviews, which will also let you know where to get the good shampoos's, dog food, etc) car seat pee pads (if you plan on training your little one inside the house) I know I'm missing stuff, but thats a rough idea. |

Ms. Kimmie (Mz_s3ski_Kitt3n is her username) does a awesome job. her website is www.pamperedpuppalace.com I have 2 from her and Cody absolutely loves them. and i even snuggled with one during my nap they are comfy and keeps you warm! She is running a special right now too! I attached some pics. she even does matching pillows i had mine customed made for a certain size. so you dont have to go that big. she will work with you. she is a nice person and easy to get along with |

I love buying hair clips. I get them online(tinkerbellscloset.com or ebay). don't forget training aids! Clicker (I always advocate clicker training!) Potty training spray carpet cleaner/odor neutralizer target stick (I don't think this is a must-have puppy item for most people, but it is what I used to teach paddington to walk on a leash, and go into his kennel) a good book about training from the library (I like the complete idiots guide to dog tricks) kennel exercise pen also look into puppy classes at pet stores near you. We took the puppy I class at petsmart, and I don't know where we'd be without it. I know a lot of people here go to petco for training too. Puppy classes are fun, and completely worth it when you have a new puppy! Our trainer taught us everything we need to know about grooming, puppy behaviors that we (humans) find odd, and how to start a trusting relationship with our new friends! As for toys, someone gave me a bag of rubber ducks when I first got Bear, and they are his favorite toys! They are just regular rubber bath ducks from the dollar store (think of Ernie on Sesame Street) Also, there is this little red dog that has a bag inside it. The bag can be taken out and heated in the microwave for a few seconds, and replaced in the dog. It is very comforting for puppies who have just left their litter! Paddington Bear slept with his every night in his bed, curled up with it. I forget the name of it, but I got it at Petsmart... I've seen a cheaper version of it at target that is a blueish color- it's about half the price, so look there first!!! Good luck! -O |
oh yeah, and shop around for a vet, too! You'll want to have one in mind when you first get puppy, because you never know what could happen! You'll also need to take him/her to have a checkup very soon after getting him. -O |
