If you love your yorkie, take a stand! I am reposting this from another thread, thanks for all the information, everyone! It is so important for us as capable citizens to take a stand and make our opinions known, especially for those that are vulnerable, like the dog and the grandparents in this case. Show them that we love them!! Here is the story: http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/lo...9-f91069787cec And here is the post by tegamom1 with the information on contacting the judge in this case. It won't take you long, and it must be done by September 10th. Below is the information both on the crime committed by this boy who sodomized a Yorkie in our state, and the the judge who is hearing his case Sept 10th ~ She must have these letters BEFORE the arraingment date! Our Rescue has raised enough money to pay most of the Yorkies vet bills, and the elderly couple now has the dog home ~ PLEASE CROSSPOST THIS TO AS MANY LISTS AS YOU BELONG TO WORLDWIDE ~~ PLEASE ~ below is the information: On August 3rd, we learned of a terrible act against a 7 lb yorkie who was repeatedly sodomized and thrown in a dumpster by the owners grandson. A letter went out (see below) and we were able to solicit enough funds to help the elderly couple pay for the extensive surgery and veterinary aftercare required to save this dog's life. The young man who did this awful thing, has a criminal history in Brevard County (Titusville), but he is being tried in Clearwater because that is county where the act took place. His name is Nicholas R. Densmore, case # CRC0716624CFANO, UCN #22007CF016624XXXXNO and he is scheduled for arraignment on Sept 10, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 8/T by Judge Nancy Moate Ley. It will be held at the Criminal Justice Center, in Clearwater. We are asking for as many people as possible to write to the judge and urge the highest possible sentence for this disgusting act of animal cruelty. Please write to Judge Nancy M. Ley, it will only take a minute to write and this young man needs to be brought to justice! Judge Nancy Moate Ley Criminal Justice Center 14250 49th Street North Clearwater, Florida 33762 YT Unite for a good cause!!! |
this makes me sick... i'm getting out a pen now!   |
Do it! We can all take a 3 minute break from YT to write a simple letter in defense of our furbabies! |
I hate when i hear stuff like this. Not just about yorkies, but about any animal cruelty, which has been happening a lot lately. It just makes me so mad  |
Then write to this judge! |
Writing a letter is a great way to show our support against animal cruelty. |
Amen! In my letter I included the fact that many people see these dogs as their only kids, and in fact they are smaller and even more defenseless than children because they can't even say what happened. |
i wrote a section about how there is so much animal cruelty going on b/c people think nothing will happen b/c they are "just dogs" or "just a filthy animal". and how they need to bring justice to these FILTHY PEOPLE |
I just sealed the letter . . . .all I did was a one liner stating to make sure he gets the highest penalty for such cruel act. :( |
ALRIGHT LADIES! Keep them coming! Even just one line makes a difference, and might even be better than a long letter. I kept it short and sweet, just the facts ma'am! |
I'm writing my letter now! |
Omg, that man is so sick (I use the word "man" loosely). I can't even wrap my mind around such a thing!! SICK! |
You ladies are so great at supporting what is right! I mailed my letter this morning, keep it up!!! :yorkietal |
Thank's for posting that info. I will get my letter in the mail today. |
I'm glad that in the world we live in today that there are still wonderful human beings like the people on here who have a heart and proper morals. I almost got sick reading the short article. I can't begin to understand why someone could do such a thing |
