"a little extra padding" well, the verdict is in. the vet says maggie has "a little extra padding she could stand to lose".   11 months old and on a diet LOL he said just cutting back the amount i feed her a little will do the trick. plus, she is handicapped right now so she really doesn't get as much exercise as she normally would ;) so, we will cut back the food LOL |
Maggie...well...welcome to my world..hehehe....we girls are always dieting....yoru vet is right, cut down the portion size and limit the snackies unless fresh veggies. :D |
oh am sure she is enjoying that extra something built into her :) she is as cute as a cuddlebug so no one won't even notice :) |

Maggie, I like your extra padding. I'd love-bite it if I were still at your house. Love, Maya:animal-pa |

Kalina is chubby too and she's only 5 months (almost!!). The way she eats I know I'll have to be very careful with her. I homecook for her, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong (or right, maybe??) since I give her something different all the time. I can feel her ribs, but she's pretty solid. :) |
well, i cut her food back a bit for dinner and she has gone around licking the bowls of all the other dogs' food. she is acting like she is starving. but, i guess it will be best in the long run. poor thing.... :( :( |
