Yorkshire Terrier magazine Who subscribes to the yorkshire terrier magazine? This is the link: http://yorkshire-terrier.com/tyt/ I'm thinking about getting it but it seems a little pricey. For those of you who subscribe... is it worth it? |
they are a lil pricey.. the only time i look at them are when im waiting in line at petco :p |
$4.00 per issue isnt bad if its out 12 times a year...Im not sure about the quality of the magazine but its supposed to be one of the best.. Dawn |
Ive never seen that magazine before. But yeah like said above me 4 dollars is not bad at all for a magazine. however it is kind of strange that they dont give you a discount for subscribing since most magazines do. (at least the ones i read do) |

YT Magazine I love this magazine!!!! I show and love to see who is winning and love to see all the show dogs. You will find great articles and tips too. You will also see who the top handlers and breeders are in case you are looking. You will get a good feel for what type of Yorkie you want to strive for. I have gotten it for 25 years, even when it was called Yorkie Tales. I think the cost is fine. Its all in what you are interested in. Also go to sweetyblue.com. They also have a publication. I havent subscribed yet, but I hope to soon. How is your little girl doing? Have you started working with her for the shows? Good luck, Lynn |
If this is the same "Yorkshire Terrier" magazine that they sell at my petsmart, it is $9.95 a copy at Petsmart! I am wondering if the subscribers pay $4.00 -- that's a substantial discount from what you pay for the cover price in the stores. |

No, this is not something you can purchase in a store. The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America is responsible for getting this together or at least was in the past. I have about 100 here but have not subscribed for years, I just may start again. When mine would come it really made my day. Yes, it is every other month. |

I also found it excellent when I was looking for a new yorkie when my Molly died. I learned so much from the show breeders and would only go that route again. Remember every puppy in their litters is not show quality and in most cases not all but most you get a ethical knowledgeable breeder. My breeder trusted me with her three yr. old champion who had puppies....I would never say what I paid but all I can say it was nothing like I hear what you are paying for some on the internet. Not even close. |
