OK!! All this stuff with lead from China... Plastics 1 Attachment(s) Attachment 143504I'm trashing all my plastic toys and dog dishes... I'll have to by stanless or something that is not from China.. Do you know how hard it is to find stuff that is not made there????? Baby bibs recalled and toys... Is the USA a dumping ground or what??? I don't want to offend anyone but this is just crazy... We need to have everything checked out before importing anything in my book.. We need to make these products here where there is some type of regulations they have to adhere too... Is there anyone that feels the same way I do...???? Gosh.. this is so upsetting and damage to your kids or dogs may all ready be done..   |
What about plastic...I have not heard???? |
im done with China, only American stuff for me from now on.... |
I don't use plastic, and I don't like to give my babies plastic stuff, I am safe:) |
I know it was bad enough with all the dog food and treat recall but now there are recalls on toys my Child has to play with |
My dogs get no plastic at all, toys or feeding bowls.....I don't care where it comes from. I feed them in with bowls that are quite breakable, as they are part of my daily dishes. Pfaltzgraff, made in USA. |
i use my own dishes too... and as far as the toys, she only likes stuffed squeaky animals |

What i think is crazy is that we just have to throw out all this stuff with no type of refund at all! i think the factories should have to pay us at least 1/2 for the toys ect if we have pictures of them, cause we all know we dont have reciepts anymore for them all grrrrrrr. its their fault they are the ones that made the choice to take jobs away from americans to china in the first place. |
I guess were talking about skinbabies here. You never can be to careful. When mine were little we didn't have all the recalls you guys are going through. Either we didn't know, or things were made better then. |
I agree!!! Something in China is always getting recalled. Hubby said something about they could make it and ship it cheaper than they could over here. I was venting to him about it one day. You can't put a price on someone's life or health. I'd much rather not risk it and pay more. My son just wouldn't get as much, but he would still be alive! |
i don't even buy anything from Fisher price and Mattel, sent a bunch of baby stuff back to them, i did get all my refund money but for more Fisher price and Mattel stuff.... i just don't trust them right now...... and for my fur babies i read the labels, but then on (i forget the name) it was some kind of chicken balls, it had on the label real big made in the USA, then really small manufactured in china !!!!!!!! it's hard finding anything in the USA the more i read labels the more pissed off i get !!!!!! |
Don't forget the fish that comes from certain countries and containes antibiotics!! EEEWWW!!! I didn't take back Noah's Thomas the Train stuff because he doesn't chew on it, he's big now (4 y/o) but still!!! I feed Kalina from pottery type dog dishes. |

This whole China thing makes me so mad!!  And I'm sick of every American company taking production overseas where there are so few regulations!! I had just bought the cutest little heart shape bowls - Pink & Blue - with the words Princess & Prince written on the inside for the dogs, when this whole China lead paint stuff started coming out. (There were so small, I was thrilled to have them, because everything I find for a dog seems too big for my little ones.) Well back to the store they went because sure enough they were stamped Made in China. If they put lead paint on children's toys, I'm sure it's on a dish for dogs. Thought about buying one of those lead paint test kits, but everything I heard on TV said that those tests aren't even perfect. Buy things local & buy American products. |
