yorkiegirl83 | 08-22-2007 10:57 PM | Tips On Puppy Proofing :) I have a spare bedroom at the moment and would like it to be the "dogs bedroom", especially for when we are gone longer than 4 hours.
Usually we have one of my little sisters puppysit, but there are those times that no one can come over to watch them or let them out and the closest real stores in my area are at least an hour away. So, a day of errands can sometimes be 6-7 hours.
I'd like them to have this room just in case we have to be gone an extended period of time. I already have a very tall baby gate, but what i'm most worried about is that my crew are molding chewers. They have already chewed on multiple moldings in the living and dining areas and I don't want them to get to this room too :).
Any creative suggestions for covering the molding with something? I have Xpens, but not enough to cover the entire perimeter of the room.
Besides that problem, the rest of the room would be good i think! Because of the tall gate, I can leave the door open.. there are big, sunny windows.. and we will be putting a soft comfy day bed or futon in there for the kids to relax on.
Any suggestions? :) |
