sad story happy ending
 

three years ago i had a litter of puppies and one of the puppies was found to have a heart Murmer she was a tiny little girl so we ofcorse didnt sell her and started our path into caring for a puppy with a heart murmer. after about a month my vet said he had a vet teck who wanted to talk to us. and she told us how she would love to adopt the little girl and my vet chimed in that he would cover all the medical expensise for the tec. after some talk and promises from our vets we let this vet tec adopt Katie well after about 6 months katies Murmer was gone no trace of the Murmer but being so tiny she had a double set of teeth the tec decided at a year and a half and time after time checking her heart and it being healthy to go ahead and have the teeth pulled and alter her at the same time ... katie was only 3 pounds .. she make it out of the surgery and out of the drugs but that night had a heart attack and passed away. this was so hard on our new friend and on us everytime we would come in with puppies for check ups she would get misty eyes well yesterday when i took Loki in for her checkup i brought Simi with for moral support our vet teck took one look at her and wouldnt give her back. Simi was kissing her and you could tell it was love at first sight .. my mind was made up right there it was the perfect home for my baby. knowing that our friend couldnt afford one of our yorkies I made her a once in a life time offer the vet tec was crying a lady with a lab was crying i was crying and my poor vet couldnt get help to hold loki. i always say the perfect home is the most important thing. and the way Simi looked at her new mom made me wonder if katie did come back for a second chance

Thank you for sharing your heart warming story. I have always believed that although all dogs are speical, there are some extra special dogs that come into our lives for a reason. It sounds like you have been well blessed with those special fur friends.

That made me cry,you are so thoughtful,some babies are brought in our world to show what unconditional love is,look what you did for that vet tech,these babies teach us to love and support each others in times of need .

That is just the sweetest story! As someone who just had a seller raise the price when I fell in love with a puppy, what you did was frickin' awesome! I get so frustrated when I see breeders making these puppies cost as much as cars just because they can and shipping them out to strangers. It's sooo nice to hear a story of someone who not only cares about how happy the puppy is but also cares about the feeling of another human being, it's like a drink of cold water on a hot day...ahhhhh.

aww thank you guy's it was just so ment to be both mom and baby had that look in there face I know you have seen it the where have you been all my life look ...it felt like a million dollars to see the love in both there eyes

That was such a wonderful story! It reminds me of the movie "Pay it forward." You did such a beautiful thing and that tech will do the same for someone else one day. Working in a vets office we all know the broken hearts and hurt sometimes that happen. She will see that in some wonderful owner who had to let her baby go to the rainbow bridge and what ever the situation at the time she will find a way to comfort that person.

You showed such love for the furbaby and her that with that kindness it will continue. That is what makes people bring love and goodness everyday when we feel sometimes there isn't. May you always be happy and healthy and keep spreading the love! Thank you!:)
