Just wondering when your puppy got "better" :P I hear a lot of advice for my crazy 3 month old puppy that he'll get much better. When did your puppy change and calm down a lot? I love the way he is right now, minus the REALLY scary growling occasionally lol. i hear some people say that after 6 months a lot had changed, is that what happened for you guys? :) |
haven't experienced that yet . my lil Prince Caden is only 3 months and is still the most energetic lil pup ever !! i doubt hes gonna come down ANY time soon !! lol =] |
LOL, probably after a year, for Luna... Little Don Juan is still in the scary personality!!! |
I don't know when but I for one can't wait until Bella will like to cuddle for more then 2 seconds |
Our 3 year old male still runs, jumps, and chases a ball like any 3 month old puppy. I hope he never losses his energy!! |
Sorry to tell you this But.. you proably have some time yet before the engery calms some. my 2 yr old is just now beginning to settle down some My 7 m. has so much engery I wish I could bottle it up and have some myself |
Naiya went from super energetic to totally chilled out after her first birthday. Chloey still likes to play a lot (she is only [almost] 6 months) but she's steadily quieting down! Only problem I have with her now is for baths and when it's time to sleep. She wanders up and down our bed for AGES before she settles down! Makes for some very short nights :( |
Coby's at 6 months and the boy is NEVER still. He's getting neutered on Thursday (shhh - don't tell him yet) and with my other boy, that helped calm him a little. So I can only hope............ :p |
Sadie's still a wild and crazy Yorkie who loves to run and play, but I noticed a BIG change in her personality when she started sleeping in my bed with me at around 6-7 months old. She became much more cuddly and kissy and definitely way more attached to me - which I think is great!!! |

P.S. - Tatum is 9 months old and is STILL super duper wild and crazy  I think that is just her personality though - I honestly don't know if it will ever change, and I hope it doesn't :D I love my lil crazy Tator Tot :D |
My boy calmed down remarkably after we started our training at about 6 months. He is much more affectionate, focused and a lot better behaved! He is still very energetic, but focuses his energy on good things instead of bad (like chewing and biting). I am really glad he is better coz he was driving me crazy!! :( This is my first yorkie and when he was so terrible I seriously doubted the wiseness of my decision to get him. Now I am really glad I did!! :) |
Aubrey was probably about 6 or 7 months, he started to calm down, but hes still very active. Dakota isn't like Aubrey, shes very laid back, all though sometimes she will start the play fights. Thats my girl!!! |
Pennys almost 6 months and she's a total spaz. Piper's almost 4 1/2, and he's as calm as can be. I'm hoping about atleast when she's one she's a little calmer, especially with that barking. |
Mine calmed down at a yr old |
Do any of you have one of those more laid back from the beginning? Lucy loves to play and chase her ball and play tug and run around in the yard but other than that she is just a cuddlebutt. She is perfectly content to hang out with me while I'm reading or watching tv. Since this is my first small furbaby I thought maybe that was the norm but now it seems like she may be the exception-not that I'm complaining, she keeps me plenty busy :) |

I know that many of you SWEAR that you love your maniac lunatic hyperactive babies and wouldn't want them any other way. But if this little field trip today makes him any calmer, I'M NOT GONNA COMPLAIN! |
Diddy is almost 6 months and has crazy moments. He will attack my feet one minute and then the next minute he just stands beside me calmly. I can't wait until he is done teething, I don't know if I can take any more biting and chewing. I still love him lots no matter what mood he is in! |
