Sneaky Yorkie!!! Do you have one too??? 1 Attachment(s) okay i have to laugh!! but i am a little mad I let this furbaby pull one over on me!! I bought him a new bed from Walgreen's for $10.00!!! (great looking and good buy) and he loves it so I am thinking okay cool...I am on the computer and he is in his bed with his back to me..and i see he has his mint rope chew toy..(so i thought) well something said make sure that is what he is chewing on and low and behold he was chewing on a hairpin!!! that little stinker!!! I am so glad I looked...so now I see I have to do a spot check on him!!! :) lol :D |

The hairpin probably smells like you and they love that!!! lol :D My Pixie is a sneak...Earlier today I was sitting in bed and the pen that I was using ran out of ink while I was writing...I looked everywhere for a new one and finally found one and brought it back to bed. Of course, all the doggies followed me around the house and back to bed. I put the pen down and reached to grab my notebook on my nightstand and the pen was gone. I got up, moved the covers and thought I was going crazy until I realized Pixie was gone...I called her and she did not come so I went out to find her...yep, thelittle booger stole my pen. lol... |
mine does the same thing! today i found him with a plastic clothes pin, no idea where that came from. :confused: lol. he'll also do that with my pens, paper, hairties, socks, his clothes (i'll see him walking around with his nightshirt in his mouth .. agan :confused: no idea), pretty much anything that is within his reach he'll try to get. lol so i've had to keep all the floors clean and everything at least 2 ft off the floor. hahaha |

I think sneaky is a genetic thing in yorkies:) My 2 love to tear up their hairbows. If I take one out of Lucy's hair I have to make sure I put it up immediately. She and Rebel both will try to get it off the coffee table, end tables, etc, then hide with it:D They also love to drag their clothes around. Those now have to be put in the hamper FAST. |

Roxy loves to sneak into the bathroom and pull toilet paper off of the roll. She also will check the trash can in the bathroom for empty rolls. If she hides under the bed, you can bet she has something she's not supposed to.:aimeeyork |
My rule of thumb is...if it's too quiet...see what they are doing!!!!! They know when they are doing something naughty. When they see me coming, they run in the other direction with their 'treasure'! |
I bought three of those beds, their great. I think your baby is the cutest little munchkin, and yes everytime Penny chews something I'm checking out her mouth. Aren't they crazy? |
How funny. Yes I do have TWO sneaky yorkies. They do stuff all the time. But you have to love them :). |

yep i have a sneaky yorkie too. like the other poster said if it's too quiet. you better check. cause its 100% guaranteed their up to something their not suppose to be. mine will be chewing on a toy and the next minute he has chewed 3 different spots on each walls. he loves to get my socks and pants.. |

oh my. I couldn't help but laugh LOL my Yorkie also looooves to grab Toilet Paper hahaha And when I catch him, the look on his face wht a tiny piece of T.P hanging off his lip is just priceless haha. I tell him no but it probably doesn't come out too tough sounding considering that I can't help but laugh haha |

My son and husband have "wars" with his Nerf dart guns. It never fails that they don't find all the darts. If Molly gets under the couch and won't come out, then she's probably found a dart! I've also learned that if she goes down the hall, then zooms back to her bed, to check her mouth. That usually means she found another dart...or something else fun from my sons floor!! And it's magic if we lay a sock down for a minute...you blink and it's gone!! Carla |
Yes, i definitely have one of those. Chloey loves to steal my clothes! Before i got her we had always had this one hamper for our laundry which had a hole pattern on it. Now when Chloey was about 4 months old, she discovered she could stick a paw between the holes, and if she pulled hard enough she could get some small clothing items right out! Needless to say for some time i wondered how on earth things i KNEW i had put in the hamper were now on the floor... thought i was going crazy for a little while till i caught miss naughty in the act! We now have a new hamper :p LOL |
Mugzy's got a thing for ear swabs... Everytime we're upstairs, he goes in the bathroom and comes out carrying a Q-tip in his mouth...He looks like he's got a cigarette dangling!:D |
haha! Funny story! :D "Sneaky" definately runs in their blood! Daisy tends to do that (run the her bed) if she's got something that's not her (hair ties, baby onesie, hubby socks, plastic price tags, etc). They think they're ostriches and you can't see them. I ALWAYS check her mouth if she's got her back to me and in her bed..:rolleyes: |
We have a rule at our house....WHATS ON THE FLOOR BELONGS TO CHELSEA. Once when she was younger, she took the TV remote off of the coffee table, took it outside, dismantled it, and buried it. Dh comes home for lunch, then watches TV, when he was looking for the remote, he asked me for it, then we both :eek: :eek: -had this look on our faces, we ran to the back yard, and found the crime scene. Lately, she thinks pulling out shredded paper from the paper shredder is fun! She leaves a trail of paper down the hall, then hides from us. LITTLE STINKERS-never a dull moment in a Yorkie home! |

Yep, I have a sneaky yorkie! I always have to do spot checks on him to make sure he's chewing on his stuff and not something he found somewhere. One time he was in my son's room playing with him, and he came downstairs with a ball that belongs to my son's cat. He layed on the floor chewing on it, and when my son would come downstairs, he would hurry up and lay on top of it to hide that he had it. Funny thing was that my son knew and didn't care if he played with it lol:) |

Monday was a perfect puppy, very mellow (still is) ... and I still say that if Monday had been like Friday is, there never would have been a Friday ...
