IMO, the first thing to do is get her to the vet before she really dehydrates and becomes hypoglycemic! That baby could die overnight if her electrolytes are off. It takes very little abnormalities to make a sick puppy worse. Has the breeder returned your calls?? No matter, the vet is the important source of info now.. Good Luck with your baby.. |
I agree with whispersmom, I saw that you said she was being treated, I am assuming you meant from the vet. I would call them and get her back in there ASAP. These little ones can go downhill VERY fast. I hope she is better very soon. |
Puppy won't eat. Most puppies will give in to boiled chicken breast that is shredded when hot and allowed to cool to a warm temperature. If your baby has gone this long you may want to call your vet and have him/her provide nourishment by IV. He also may do a sub q. injection of electrolyte fluids under the skin for a quick boost. wnalegria |
