PETA employees love animals, right???? I live close to the national PETA headquarters. The big story in our area last night and today has been two PETA employees are charged with picking up pets from shelters and instead of finding them homes, (as they claimed they were doing), euthanizing them and dumping them in a dumpster located just over the North Carolina line. This has been going on for a month. I copied a link to the article, hope it works.... http:http://home.hamptonroads.com/stories...155298&tref=po |
If PETA had their way there would be no breeders or no breeding of dogs. I just saw a program where they stated this. |
I cant believe what I just read!!! . This is the organization that is supposed to help animals not kill them and dispose of them like yesterdays garbage. I wonder what kind of damage control peta will do to offset this bad publicity. |

Since we're in the area, we get alot of PETA activitism, some makes the national news, some doesn't. A few summers ago, PETA workers were out in the Bay literally shooting at local fishermen, and I don't mean the commercial guys either. |
I have no idea why they would do something so horrible. It's a very sad story. |
What monsters - to deprive those poor pets of a chance (however remote it may have been) for a loving home. I hope there is a very special place in Hell and jail for them!!! Capital punishment would be too good for them! |
I received a copy of this article from a woman who writes a pet column. This is not the first time these "people" have done unspeakable things. |
That is just sick!! I mean I knew peta was off it's rocker at times but this is down right twisted. I cannot imagine taking animals only to euthenise them in the van on the way to the garbage dump. It is so bad, I bet they wont cover it nationally because so many suport them, and the publicity would be real bad. Still, gives me another reason to be glad I have nothing to do with peta, ever |
