Favourite Scratching Area What's the favourite area on your Yorkie's body that they loved to be scratched at? Usually dogs love being scratched behind their ears, because apparently there's some sort of nerve? Well Missy LOVES her HIPS scratched (not literally on her hips but near her back--butt area, i hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say hahah) . She'll fall asleep in a minute, as a matter of fact, she's sleeping on my lap right now because I gave her a 10 minute scratch there LOL. :aimeeyork |
Jake loves to be scratched behind his ears too! And, he loves tummy rubs and head rubs. |
Paddington Bear LOVES his belly scratched!!! He is so cliche! He's started this new habit, where he'll roll over to get his belly scratched if we are going out somewhere and want him to go to his kennel. We say "Bear, go to bed!" and he gives us a pouty look, and rolls over so we scratch his belly instead of going out. It is SOOO irresistible, I was eight minutes late for work this morning because of it!!!!! -O |
Awww looool MISSY IS THE EXACT SAME WITH THE BELLY RUBS. It's unbelievable how many times a day she rolls over on her back whenever she sees us coming towards her. She is a fiend for it. |
Layla LOVES her tummy scratched and her ears.... also her back... close to her bum... lol... |

Hehehehe, it's so funny how much they love it there. I swear, Missy will let you scratch/rub there for one hour straight!!! |
It's funnny but both Tino and Lola love to be scratched near the "armpit" area of their front legs. I think it's because they wear harnesses during the day and the velcro makes them itchy. But there is no easier way to get their little leg thumping like a bunny than scratching them there! |
Indy adores her belly being rubbed and stroked, not really scratched. But Ben and Malachi love a good chest scratch. |
Definetly ears and heads for Piper & Penny. |
