Any Suggestions?? Hi all....Well, here is the problem....Louie has slept in his little bed "crate" that I keep next to my bed beautifully since the day I got him. Well the past two nights he cries and wants to come out. I was up almost the entire night trying to get him to go to sleep. He loves to snuggle up next to me in the bed and nap and I know he would love to sleep there but I didnt make that a habit because he is so small I think it would be dangerous if I rolled over on him or something. Is he just going through something or testing me? I dont get it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Tami  |

oh haha...good luck to both of us! They are so cute and cuddley...I would love nothing more than to let Louie sleep with me but Im just so scard that I would squish him. |
Baby sleeps with us, and we have never hurt. If we get near rolling over on her, you better believe she is outa there quick! Sometimes if we are moving a lot during the night, she will go sleep on the couch until we have adjusted and then she will come back in. Also, when she was really little we put a mattress on the floor and slept there so we didn't have to worry about her falling off. A lot of the times she would sleep happily on a blanket and pillow right next to the bed. However, because it's the same level as the mattress on the floor she didn't mind it! Good luck! |
sleeping in bed I can promise you that if the only reason you dont want him in your bed is because you are afraid of rolling on him,IT WONT HAPPEN,I have both of mine in my bed,the only one to get squished is me, they are bed hogs and if you do roll over to close they move, anyway they eather sleep under my bottom,or hog the pillow, neather my husband nor I have rolled on any yorkie, and we have had yorkies for 16 years...the ones we have now are under 1 year and are little guys, they have been in their bed,and they allow us to sleep in it too[there sweet,we dont have to sleep in a crate]but there is no need to worry about hurting them, mine move |
LOL...I agree with Judy..Maximus owns the bed and if I do push him over or even try to move him he snorts and makes me move back over..lol..the thing is we are getting NO sleep and my bf is getting REALLY cranky from the deprivation...lol..and since Maximus gets his "full night" he still thinks we should all wake up at 5:30 with him..lol |
I'm not scared of squishing him, I'm scared he'll jump off and break his neck! |
Chloe and Lacey have their own kennels, in another room, where they sleep from 8pm until 7am without problems. I love them but am a light sleeper. Every move caused me to wake up. In fact, Lacey goes right to her bed when I say it is night night time. |
