holy hell thats a lot of money for a dental!!! |
Holy cow - what did you get him - a whole set of Doggie Dentures with a gold front tooth ?? over a thousand dollars ? That's super high for a dental- It sure sounds like someone is gouging someone (like maybe your insurance company?) |
I don't think my dentals have ever cost over $300. I sure would shop around, insurance or not. I think you got taken for a ride! |
That is awful high |
Do you mind sharing what wellness plan you use? |
for those of you who have had extractions how much did it cost for your yorkie?? I'm nervous about that cost...Especially since yours was over $1,000! Yikes! |

Whoa! That is a lot of money. Ellie goes to the most expensive vet around and she had dental surgery in January. She got her teeth cleaned and 9 pulled. It cost around $600. |
WOW ...I think your vet is in the market for a new boat and you just helped him buy it. That's very steep for simple extraction - VERY steep. If I were you I'd be calling the vet and asking why they gouged you like that. |
dental Good night nurse...I have taken some of mine to a dental specialist for cleaning/removal..and it has never been more then $350... I have a feeling when the person has insurance the prices go up..way up!!!! My daughter just had two teeth filled and a root canal/crown..it was $1150... |
1 Attachment(s) if you can see maybe its too small but the basic plus is what i have chubby on http://www.banfield.net/health/owp_adults.asp# |
I was just reading your breakdown and the first thing that looks really high is the lab work. Ellie's cost about $94 which is very expensive. She did not get an echocardiogram. The meds were about the same price. Simple extractions were between $45 and $65 each. I think the actually dental was $105 which included 45 minutes of anesthesia (isoflourine). Every extra 15 minutes of anesthesia was $38. The $600 doesn't include her first office visit/consultation so maybe add another $25. |
wow I should not be posting tonight..I am in such a dead honest mood...that bill is so padded it would bounce when thrown off the Empire State building...BUT I realize it is California and things are high... |
wow I find the tooth cleaning or teeth pulling way to expensive! I did not even pay 1/4 of that. |
