Pretzels Think they are bad for fur butts??? Bella goes crazy for them, I scrap the salt off and give her bites here and there....Diggy likes it too but Bella just goes crazy! |
My two love pretzles also. I hope someone knows the answer to this good question you started. :) |
Pretzels are probably fine as long as you scrape the salt off :) Mine get them every once in awhile too :) They also love bread!! |
good to know! I feel better about Bella sharing treats! Diggy too! :D |
Are you talking about tiny pretzels? Because I thought too much "bread" or bread-type products were bad for dogs. Isn't that why we look for food without too much wheat, etc.? My dogs would LOVE pretzels. But I didn't think they'd be good for them. Would they be okay? |
I've given my boys wheat bread sometimes when their tummy seems to be upset, or sometimes with medicine. They get tiny peices of cheese with their medicine too. That's their favortie. Little cheese bits. Never tried pretzels though. |
Mine won't touch pretzels BUT, they love ice cream |
As long as you take the salt off I would say they would be OKAY for an occassional treat. I wouldn't give them preztels often, but every now and then would be okay. |
They get a pretzel a week Id say.....not the tiny ones the bigger thin ones! Love em! |
As long as they do fine w/ grain/carb - and you already wipe off the salt - they really should be just fine for the little punkins. Not much different than feeding some other simple carb like rice. How IS that Derrible Diggy? |
I am assuming when you said as long as they do fine with grain/carb that as long as their bellies can handle it. well, he did good with chocolate, he did fine with the colored pencil, and just great on the raw chicken trimmings.....I think he has a stomach of steel!!!!! lol Diggy is great thanks for asking...I am about to start a thread on some of his well planned out tricks.....check it out he is always good for a laugh!! How is my beautiful dream baby Mr. Marcel??? we need some new pics by the way.....:p |
