low protein treats Can anyone tell me some low protein treats??? I mean like commercial ones you could buy at a pet store?? Im having major trouble finding any. |
Vitakraft yogurt drops are "lower" in protein with no animal protein... |
If you have a dehydrator, you can cut up some sweet potatoes and dehydrate them. Most dogs love this treat. |

wow great ideas thanks!!! I am having trouble finding them! Has anyone ever did the fruits and veggies?? If so what kind and how did you do it??? No Yorkieluv I do not have a dehydrator but i am thinking of asking for one for x-mas....are they expensive?? I the garden right now I have a few strawberries, cukes, zuchinni, green peppers, and yellow peppers. My dogs love everyone of these but I give it to then fresh. Also how do you store dried veggies and fruits? I made my GE buddy a sealed air tight treat jar would that work?? or Should I use ziplocks?? |

solid gold has turkey jerkey treats and they are good I think 12 protein and only 5 percent fat, they are soft and you can break them up. |
I have the solid gold turkey and lamb jerky but i have never looked at the protien in them Ill check it out thanks! |
I sell treats that are low in protein. The Sam's Yams sweet potato treats are 6% protein. The molasses Itty Bitty Buddy Biscuits are 7%. http://www.barkaholics.biz/collections/treats/ ETA: Mine are good until 5/08. :) |
