puppy food. can anyone recommend a brand of puppy food for a 3month old? Im currently feeding him Purina Beneful but alot of people i come across tell me i should switch to Eukanuba? also, how would i switch him over without taking too long. |
royal canin for pups or yorkies. moisten it and let it sit in fridge for at least 20 min or overnight. Sometimes mine gets finicky and i add cottage cheese or chicken livers /ground beef cooked up....then re wean him off that. Also remember daily nutrical. This is wheat my breeder used and whea t my vet sells. Mybe it will work for you. Good luck!:aimeeyork |

Eukanuba is supposed to be simiar to royal canin...you mix two brands slowly increasing the new brand. Yes do a search! |
I feed a mix of Canidea Innova EVO and Chicken Soup for the puppy lovers soul. :o) |
I feed Canidae and Royal Canin Puppy. I'm starting to homecook now that he's older, which is a really great option as well. |
solid gold makes a good puppy food and its rated very good, royal canin isnt rated as high as solid gold, innova canidaie. royal canin I think has wheat gluten and corn gluten in it not good ingredients. |
I feed Innova dry puppy and it works for us. I'm pleased. One other thing besides the gradual mix of the old and new food to get them used to it, is to do the same thing with your tap water. If you plan to give tap water, start with distilled and mix it with tap. Increase it a little each day until they are on straight tap water. I was told that they can get diarrhea from switching to city/tap water too quickly. |
Also, if you go to the yorkie health and diet section, you will find a sticky for dog food manufacturers that will send samples. |
